The service & food were fantastic and I’d definitely recommend coming to the Merryfellow. We were distracted by the 4 kids who kept running round the whole pub loudly (kids will be kids) whilst we were trying to eat which was the only detractors. Will be back for another meal & visit soon.

Amazing gem of a find in the local area to our hotel. Every food item was flawless, the drinks and wine, too and the service was prompt and professional. Will definitely go back

A Night to Remember at The Victoria, Cheltenham Ohhh it was lovely , truly, honestly, heartwarmingly lovely. We celebrated my best friend Lynn’s birthday dinner at The Victoria, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From start to finish, it felt like we were wrapped in a big, beautiful hug of good food, warmth, and kindness. The ambience? Soft lighting, elegant charm, and just the right level of calm, classy without feeling stiff, cosy without feeling crowded. We walked in and instantly felt like we belonged there. Now the food… where do I begin? Every single dish was a dream. Beautifully plated, full of flavour, and made with so much care. You could taste the love in every bite. We kept looking at each other like, “Is this real?” It was that good. Lynn was beaming the whole time, and as her best friend, seeing her so happy made me feel so proud. She deserved a beautiful evening, and The Victoria gave her that and more. And let’s talk about the staff, so friendly, so thoughtful, and so genuine. They treated us like we mattered, and made Lynn feel like a queen on her special day. Little touches like that stay with you. If you’re thinking of going, don’t hesitate. Whether it’s a special occasion or a quiet night out, The Victoria makes moments feel magical. We’ll be back, with full hearts and hungry stomachs. ❤️

Delicious meal with lots of choice and lovely staff. Great ambience and they spoilt my husband (it was his birthday). We will definitely return!

The main waitress was great, as the kitchen had not prepared or ran out of several dishes and she communicated this with us well. For an every week meal, this would be an expensive trip as for two people, you would need to spend the recommended amount of £60-£80 on the main meal, not including drinks! That being said, the food is tasty and has good quality over quantity and it is worth a visit.
