By sourcing locally, we know where our produce comes from and the person who grew it. Not only does this showcase what farmers in Colorado do so well, but it gives our guests the opportunity to support their neighbors and friends. Located in the St Julien Hotel, Jill’s Restaurant & Bistro offers a thoughtful menu featuring fresh, local and dynamic ingredients. The kitchen, helmed by Executive Chef Rich Byers, sources its ingredients through partnerships with local farms, creameries and ranches, its own on-­site garden and Boulder’s seasonal Farmer’s Market – conveniently located across the street – where the chefs procure the freshest herbs, vegetables and fruits. These ingredients are used to create scratch-­made food, including pasta, bread, pastries, sauces, jus and more.

Join us for an under the stars experience in our exclusive, heated rooftop Alpenglobes for a unique & intimate dining experience. Enjoy date night, a family dinner or a business outing. Our globes can host up to 6 guests. There are no pre-set menus & guests will be able to order from our a la carte menu options. Globes will be reserved up to 15 minutes past your reservation time, after which the reservation will be released & charged the cancellation fee. We do reserve the right to charge $50 per person if cancellations are made within less than 24 hours.

Enjoy a barn patio table or one of our 7 intimate, private garden cabanas with wood stoves, gorgeous views, and a beautiful 4-Course chef tasting menu (dietary restrictions accommodated) created by James Beard nominated chef Eric Skokan at our historic farmstead. Our 500-acre full-scale diversified organic farm supplies the majority of ingredients for your meal; from vegetables & herbs to pork & lamb to grains. Open Wed-Saturdays.     My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to attend one of this farm dinner after our four children gifted us the two dinner reservations, which you pay in full before the evening of the dinner. Initially they may seem a little bit expensive, but once you've gone through the experience of eating the food and enjoying the views and witnessing/tasting the immense talent that this Chef has, it is completely worth it.....not to mention what a healthy multi course meal you will be getting! The views were beautiful, and the dishes that you will be served will be unlike anything you've probably ever had. Everything is fresh and almost everything is grown right on Farm. Staff are very knowledgeable about everything that they bring out to the guests and provide a great service. If I could make any suggestions, I would say that it would be a good idea after the guests are seated at their table for the staff to let them know about how long they will wait for the courses to start coming out because we were a little uncertain as the minutes went by when to expect a a server to come by or when our food would come. Once we saw how the "flow" worked, it was perfectly fine, we just weren't sure at the very beginning what to expect. Also the chairs could be a little bit more comfortable because they didn't really have any backs other than one bar across the top and it did get a little bit uncomfortable. I think they could probably find some good chairs that still fit into the farm theme that offer a little bit more comfort and support. Also, a little bit of background music might be kind of nice, since it was very quiet on the farm overall and you had to whisper at the table so as not too impose upon (or eavesdrop on) other conversations happening nearby. And maybe some candles on the tables would also be very nice and romantic. The last suggestion I would have is if they could put a little bit of lighting out in the parking areas, so as not to trip on dirt, rocks, etc.

    Celebrated my husband’s 60th in an Alpenglobe. Had a lovely time and our server Mark made it very special. We enjoyed our meal and would love to come back again someday. Favorite dish was the pulpo and the bread with special house butter. The mocktails were also lovely. Meat was on the rare side, we ordered medium rare but the center was quite rare. (The pass should have checked for this before sending out.) happy we ordered the Iberico ham. Couldn’t see the Flatirons from where we were, but it was still was a lovely experience.
