The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. Whether you want to warm yourself in the sun outside in the summer with a glass of Pimms or enjoy a perfect pint of cask conditioned real ale in front of a real log fire in the winter, the Cricketers is the perfect place for a drink. The founder is a mother of three who was looking for places locally to have a nice coffee and some lovely brunch whilst my older children were at school and I had the little one with me.Locally there wasn’t anything except for the coffee shop chains who didn’t offer proper meals during those core school hours where you want to be able to have enough time to enjoy your meal but also get out by 2pm on time for the school run. There are plenty of places for lunch that open from 12 but women like the founder who maybe would like to meet a friend for a coffee and brunch there wasn’t anything.This is why I decided to start Nashtaa. Where we can all go have a lovely cup of tea or coffee, a nice brunch with a fusion twist and a homemade slice of cake to top it off! All in a beautiful Instagram worthy setting.

    The welcome and service were good. The food was good, but the ambience was spoilt by the excessively loud music from the DJ. Live music was advertised but it was a DJ on decks and it was VERY loud. We complained but I don’t think anything changed. My husband and I are over 60, but we were with a young couple and they were very concerned too.

    Had a really nice evening and it's a great looking place. Beautiful setting and the staff were very friendly. Only issues were slight delays on food and drink due to the staff being busy with non diners at the bar. The food albeit tasty felt over priced. We had 2 bar snacks, 2 garlic breads, 3 main m, 1 kids, 3 puddings and drinks. Very shocked to see the bill at £180.. not sure how families go out anymore. Again the staff were lovely.
