Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Godalming

This was our fourth visit to The Star and the 20 mile journey is worth the ride to once again be able to soak up the ambiance, the cheerful attitude of all the staff and of course the great menus and superb food. We hope to be back soon and to bring some of our family along to. Thank you too all the 'Stars' !

Lovely meal with good friends. Very relaxed and we sat chatting for ages. I had the risotto and my friends had chicken caesar salad and all was very good.

New Landlord Charlie seems to be settling in nicely , with personal touches like flowers at each dining table . Food excellent as ever

Four of us went for Sunday lunch and were extremely impressed with the service, waiting time and quality of food. All were five star. We will be returning! Sunday roasts were delicious and was very nice to see that they didn’t skimp on the meat - which a lot of places now do when they pile a roast into a tower! - this was not the case and we all really enjoyed it. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Our food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and we’d certainly consider coming back if we’re ever back in the area
