It seems Mr Davenport was performing outside the hotel at a private affair making his 8:30 pm appearance at the club null and void. We we told he would be at least one and a half hours late! Too be a "no show" at the jazz club so he could try to fit in another outside event "gig" was an insult to all the folks sitting on their hands waiting for the local entertainer! Not only should he be ashamed but his actions make the Ritz Carlton look like a second rate operation! Someone inform him he is not Dizzy Gillespie or Al Hurt!More infoThe Davenport LoungePrice: Moderate• American• French Quarter•4.6

I tried three different beers, as did my friend, and each one was excellent. The food was very good, especially the pulled pork. The only slight disappointment were the sides that were a little bland. We stayed past closing and the staff was very accommodating about letting us finish our beers without rushing us out. The noise level was a little high but not where it had a negative effect.More infoBrewery Saint XPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Central Business District•4.1
