Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Uptown

The Apolline restaurant is sooo nice. The ambiance is quaint yet elegant complete with tablecloths dressed in white linen. The food is scrumptious. My wife and I enjoyed the smoked chicken over mashed potatoes and spicy collard greens. The bread pudding and creme brűlée for dessert was wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is SO good. Cooked wonderfully, & very fulfilling! Warm atmosphere. Service was great! A great New Orleans uptown tradition, going strong!

The Sunday tea was outstanding at Davenport however, the jazz the night before was miserable and lacked customer orientation. It seems Mr Davenport was performing outside the hotel at a private affair making his 8:30 pm appearance at the club null and void. We we told he would be at least one and a half hours late! Too be a "no show" at the jazz club so he could try to fit in another outside event "gig" was an insult to all the folks sitting on their hands waiting for the local entertainer! Not only should he be ashamed but his actions make the Ritz Carlton look like a second rate operation! Someone inform him he is not Dizzy Gillespie or Al Hurt!

The arayes pita sandwich full of delicious grilled ground beef was so good! Also typical of the excellent pita/hummus found in Tel Aviv, loved it.
