Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. Terrific dishes and great service. This was my first visit. I asked our server, Jasmine, to order for us. She took our menus away and treated us to a fantastic meal that included 6 delicious dishes, starting with the steak tartare. It was an exciting evening with the surprise of one dish after another. The crispy rice and the pork chop were standouts. We’ll be back to try more.

Very good Japanese yakiniku aka bbq. The quality of meat and marinade are excellent. We had Tokyo style beef tongue and Kobe beef tongue; US prime short ribs, US prime Rosu and Kobe Short ribs. All meat are tender, soft and juicy. No doubt Kobe one stands out. Service are great, you are getting enough attention during your meal time but not overly. This is one of our favorite bbq place in LA area. We would definitely come here every time we visit LA.

Our family wasn’t available for Christmas dinner at home this year, so the two of us went off on an adventure & found Pacific Hideaway. Everything was great - the modern ambience, the pleasant service, & delicious food! We left happy & content! Hope to return again soon!👍👍👍👍
