Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Fairfax

We went for a father-son late lunch or early dinner. Service was excellent. We both ordered chicken sandwiches, which were outstanding. My son had the truffle fries. I indulged on some delicious bacon cheddar fries. I also enjoyed a tasty Happy Hour Margarita on the rocks. We had the best time. Thanks so much!

Food was solid. We split the kebab plate for 2 which was more than enough food. The mushroom and steak kebabs were okay but the chicken and kefta were outstanding. The only downsides are we saw our server only 3 times, order, check in and bill and the seats in the front of the restaurant you’re sitting right next to another group of 2 or 4.

We were on the patio, which is lovely -- shaded and with a breeze. Ashley was our server; she is always excellent. We had wine (the sparkling rosé and Gruner vetliner), a cheese plate, and two specials -- the paté and the gazpacho, all of which were delicious. The evening was lovely, the food and wine are exceptional, and the service is high quality and personable. Overall, such a pleasant evening. Thank you.

Service at True Food is absolutely wonderful. Our server was so nice and right there when you needed her but unobtrusive the rest of the time. I appreciate the healthy options on the menu and the ambiance is great - very peaceful and cute decor.

Every aspect of our experience — from the food to the service — was absolutely incredible. We started with the mussels and burrata appetizers, and both were bursting with flavor. The mussels were perfectly cooked in a savory broth that we couldn’t stop dipping our bread into, while the burrata was fresh, creamy, and paired beautifully with its accompaniments. For the main course, we were blown away by the seafood pasta and the angel hair pasta — each dish prepared with such finesse and attention to detail. The seafood was fresh, tender, and plentiful, nestled in a perfectly balanced sauce. The angel hair was delicate and flavorful, cooked to perfection. We also tried two of the veal dishes, and they were melt-in-your-mouth delicious — rich, comforting, and expertly seasoned. All paired perfectly with a bottle of Prossecco and 2 bottles of Red Wine-Primitivo. What truly elevated the entire experience was the impeccable service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel welcome and cared for throughout the meal. Bellissimo is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving an exceptional Italian meal, this place is a must-visit.
