I know restaurants can’t control how loudly prople talk, but 2 different tables had individuals who were so loud that we could hear every single word they said. Clueless! My husband‘s pork chop was delicious. My fish was very good, not the best I’ve ever had but quite good. Waiter was very helpful with choosing our wine. There are two premium tables for two - more private and by the windows - we were told we would’ve had to request one before we came even though one of them was unoccupied. I wish we had known this as it was our anniversary and we would have loved to be able to sit at one of them.

Everything about our dinner was amazing ... and the coconut cake lived up to its billing! We appreciated being able to share our steak and it was prepared perfectly. This is a must-stop for dinner while in Charleston.

What a way to celebrate Mother's Day! It was so special for all of us. My mom was really touched by the sparkling wine when you walked in, to the single rose given to each of us at the end of our meal. Speaking of the meal! The food was outstanding! The poached shrimp and crab claws, to the prime rib, and mashed potatoes, all the other side dishes and main courses were spectacular. We said we are now making the Hotel Bennett a Mother's Day tradition!
