Best Casual Restaurants in Kapalua

We participated in the Chef’s table experience and while the food was great, the experience itself left more to be desired for $150 min. The table was set in the middle of the bar which didn’t lend itself to the exclusive experience. The Chef was very personable when we saw him at each of the 3 courses but that was it. I think we just expected more from how it was built up.

My wife and I had the best experience at Sansei sushi bar on our last night in Maui. Our waiter Sonny was so sweet and had the best recommendations! You won’t regret stopping here for super fresh sushi at a reasonable price. Thank you!

Everyone we encountered from the host and wait staff was very friendly and polite. Our waiter, Bruce, was excellent and extremely helpful with our menu decisions. The food was also excellent. Overall a very delightful experience.

Our server Anthony was what made the evening perfect. As we were making selections of both wine, appetizers and entrees he had lots of suggestions and recommendations as we asked questions. We took his recommendations and they turned out to be perfect. So glad we listened to him. He interacted with us in a very casual and pleasant manner and even gave us some great recommendations for hikes in the area when we asked. Can’t end without saying that the view from the restaurant at sunset can’t be beat. We have returned on each visit and will continue to do so! Wonderful evening.

Merriman's is a superb dining experience! Every aspect is well thought out, from ambience and service to food preparation and extra added touches! We ate here two times in the last week and loved it! This is a five star restaurant and you will have the most delightful meal and memorable time!
