Best Casual Restaurants in Kihei

We love Tommy Bahama! They are consistently good. We come here whenever we're in Maui. Ahi stack and Mai Tai, then always the Bungalow Salad. Their macadamia crusted fish isn't as good, maybe, but still delish. Still A Fan!

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Jay during our visit at the bar, and he is truly the best bartender we've ever encountered! From the moment we sat down, Jay’s warm and welcoming energy made us feel right at home. He has an incredible knack for reading his guests and crafting personalized cocktails that not only taste amazing but are beautifully presented. Jay’s knowledge of mixology is unmatched. He didn’t just make drinks—he created an experience. Beyond his talent, Jay has a genuine personality that makes him stand out. His quick wit, engaging stories, and effortless professionalism turned our evening into something truly special to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It’s clear that he takes great pride in his craft, and it shows in every detail. If you're lucky enough to be served by Jay, you're in for a treat. We can’t recommend him highly enough and can’t wait to return for another round of his incredible cocktails and outstanding hospitality the next time we come to Maui !

We tried a variety of foods and everything from the surf to the turf to the sushi bar was all amazing quality and reasonable portions. Even our kids loved the chicken tenders, which were perfectly prepared. Good beer selection and solid cocktails. The service was low-key and knowledgeable, atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Probably only once the trip destination for our budget, but definitely enjoyed everything about it. 

The food was fantastic and service was stellar. The real star of the show, however, was the happy hour! Couldn’t believe we got as much food as we did, for such a great price
