Farm & Table
I was hoping to be wowed. It was my parents 50th Anniversary and we thought to change up the usual fine dining locations to Farm meaning it was not great for our group of ten, not a huge critique, just pointing it out.
Our server was scattered and had a hard time keeping up with us. Overlooked my Mother's wine order when he spent too much time with others correcting them on the wine choice over just taking the order. He was clearly a junior somalier.
Food was fine. Not fantastic. The choices were great, but there was more effort placed on the smearing of the fancy sauce than the flavor of the sauce itself. A $50 steak comes with expectations and the value just isn't there.
Not saying don't go, but there are other fine dining sites in town that are much better overall.
As always, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food!
Everything was excellent. The Poutine special was even better.
The price for the quality just doesn't quite match.
Overall, all experiences I've had at Farm & Table have been decent. Nothing bad, per se, but I am still not at a point in my life where I can afford dinner there, knowing an entree will not leave me full and I will have to eat something else when I get home. I understand that fine dining portions are typically small, but it always seems much worse at Farm & Table. I tend to be a light eater, and all of my dining companions for dinner there have echoed my sentiments, only louder.
I highly recommend breakfast/brunch at farm & table, as the portions are better and you can get a nice meal for around $15, which is a bit more reasonable. Their bacon is really excellent and definitely makes breakfast there worthwhile. It's a cozy ambiance, and the outdoor seating there is very comfortable, even in the wintertime. I recommend making a reservation if you do not wish to wait for a table. Many times when I've walked in, there is a wait of 30 minutes to an hour!
We went for breakfast and while we were disappointed there wasn't a special we picked our favorite - the enchiladas. My friend loved the coffee that was served and they kept filling her cup.
We come here for special ocasions as it is always a treat for us. We always recommend this place to friends. We brought some friends here for a birthday dinner and they loved it as it was their first time. Now our friends say this is their new favorite restaurant. Thank you for making the evening special for us again. We ordered the artichoke appetizer, it is excellent as always.
ok ok i gotta say it. two ( yes 2) fingerlings with my steak. it was yummy, but a little thin on the plate, the extra bites of parsnip and carrot were frankly terrible. like chunks of wood in the shape of teeth. i grow alot of root veggies and they can be made very tasty, especially parsnips. the table bread was dry and looked like it came from Wholefoods. the farm fries portion has shrunk and there’s never enough dip. as someone who has eaten quite often at Farm and Table since it opened, i believe the food has gone down hill just a wee bit and it does not warrant the impecable accolade of yore.
A true Albuquerque gem. Spectacularly fresh ingredients (especially vegetables), and the chefs knew how to expertly prepare everything we ordered. Particularly high marks to the wedge salad, filet, and duck breast. The wine list is a bit intimidating if you are not already well-informed there, but the servers are helpful in making recommendations.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious and plated beautifully. The service was outstanding and the setting was lovely. I am looking forward to coming back throughout the year to see what other seasonal options they have in store. There was a rather loud group there when we were dining, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant and not a common experience I'm sure. Perfect place for bringing a date!
Very good food, excellent service, will go back. Initially we were concerned that perhaps as the room filled up, it might become very noisy . . . But even though it was "lively" it was never that really annoying extreme loudness. Whole experience was very good.
I have been here multiple times for dinner and also for special occasions. The food is always consistently good and so is the service. This place is defiantly my favorite restaurant in town!!
Although I still think it’s one of the best options in Albuquerque for a nice dinner we were disappointed this time round. Hopefully that’s not the new normal since the loss of their amazing head chef at the end of 2018, but I’m afraid that might be the case. We had a PHENOMENAL dinner a month ago (a special of house made fettuccini with shrimp and green chili sauce and the trout that’s still on the regular menu). Worth a 5 star review. This time we tried a stuffed chicken breast special and the trout again. The chicken was OK (rich with foie grad and bacon-infused mashed potatos but nothing subtle or surprising in the flavor) and the trout was decidedly not as good. The chef also slipped in an unannounced substitution of carrots for radishes in the quinoa dinner salad and also added cubed parsnips (? - what was he thinking?), which was a bummer since my wife doesn’t like carrots. Plus the salad was just not as good. The best part of the meal was the wine selection. Our server, who also seemed to be the somalier, hooked us up with an 06 Riesling that was amazing, and a bargain at $55 per bottle.
We love the ambiance of the indoor seating area but during the cold months the enclosed outdoor porch seating can be hit or miss. Last time was nice, this time another couple had requested that they turn down the heat and they left it turned down too long. When we requested more heat, unfortunately the best we could manage was too much heat on our upper bodies from the standing heaters but freezing feet. The noise level was good but unfortunately we could still clearly hear the inane conversation of a group of drunk out-of-towners sitting 2 tables away. Not the restaurant’s fault, but still annoying.
I think we’re going to give F&T a rest for a while to see how it makes it through the transition.
Very cute, good food, and the service was excellent.
Food, service and atmosphere were greata
Most amazing New Year’s Eve meal and menu I’ve ever had!!! Was better than many fine establishments I’ve been too!!!
Another excellent restaurant experience at farm and table. The muffin coffee atole and omelet s. Were excellent as well as service. The room was a bit cool and wish ed the fireplace could give off a bit of heat. The brunch menu was limited but we were completely satisfied. We will be back.
Very delicious dinner, good service and very nice sitting by the fireplace on a cold evening. Very enjoyable.
Wonderful ambiance - perfect place to take visitors to introduce them to the southwest. Drink prices seemed high. Food was good, but a bit inconsistent. Great service. Would recommend overall!
amazing food would love to go again, a bit pricey but it’s worth it. Very good.
Loved the location, concept and feel of the small restaurant. We made a reservation and we sat right next to the door which wasn’t my favorite. It took about 5 minutes to be greeted by our waiter but overall he was very good after that. The food was fresh and flavorful but I thought it was a little pricey for what we actually got. The wine was delicious and so was dessert. We would try this place again in the summer to sit outside- it looked beautiful. My only recommendation is know this place is going to be pricey and you won’t be surprised when you sit down.
beautiful setting, watching it snow on the patio through the glass doors, delicious food, beautiful service, organic local food. Creative cooking
Food is amazing. Service is great. Wine selection is well thought out.
Great food and our server, James was very helpful and knowledgeable about wine selections!
We requested an inside table but we’re seated outside and it was too cold for us
Great food. It was too loud the night we were trhere because we were seated in a room with a wedding party. Toasts and cheers made for a loud room. I separate room would have been better for both.
Made for a great Winter Solstice celebration with friends. Appreciate the knowledge and willingness of our waiter to make modifications to address my gluten-free and dairy-free diet. We always love the quinoa salad and the fact that I CAN have goat cheese. The filet was perfectly cooked to my liking AND I can even have dessert - the cherry almond sorbet was wonderful.
It was our first time there, as we live in Santa Fe, but it is now going to be monthly.
We all had a very nice time, a birthday celebration.
The food was yummy!
If you have an elderly guest, it may be best if you sit inside.
My mother in law was pretty cold seated in the patio.
The wine was so smooth.
A great time was had by all.
Creative Menu and delicious food. Only glitch: entree was lukewarm.
I had a wonderful time quick and prompt service.I had the duck breast and it was some of the best duck I have had in years. This place is great for a date. Kind of expensive but was worth every dollar. I give 5 stars they made my date feel great with kind service. I'll be coming back to this place. Keep up the great work.
As always, dinner was excellent. The Cheese Trio and Potato Leek Soup were very good. The duck was excellent as always and my husband enjoyed the filet- this is the only restaurant in town where he will even order it.
Farm & Table offers a classic New Mexican fine dining atmosphere in an adobe style building. Candlelight and an attentive staff help create a memorable experience. The fresh vegetables from their farm are the special attraction here, and are prepared simply and creatively.
The Rainbow Trout I had was cooked exactly to my specifications with a tasty side of shredded mixed greens and daikon slices. My companion's Tofu, Rice Noodle and Vegetable Medley was very flavorful, featuring crisp baby carrots and snap peas. He also enjoyed the Pork & Posole Soup.
We have a Holiday tradition of friends getting together for lunch. We always have a good time at Farm and Table. The food is always tasty and the service good. The kitchen struggled a bit today as eggs were not done as ordered and mine were just flat out cold. However the sausage gravy and biscuits were great. The enchiladas were very good especially the red chile. Coffee and biscotti were excellent. One friend had the BLT and loved it. Eggs Benedict were very good with absolutely great smoked ham! Very pleasant service.
Food was good, although we thought the total cost was higher than we anticipated. Overall, is was good.
I've been wanting to go to Farm and Table for a long time now, and was unfortunately dissapointed. Food was good, but not as creative as I anticipated. Also exceedingly high-priced, there are certainly other options in the area at the same level of style and quality.
The menu is a bit limited but otherwise its a great choice
Food was unique and very satisfying. The service was slow. Waitress seemed to really not wanting to be there. Sommelier was very knowledgeable
The menu is limited, but the food is fantastic. We went for a Birthday dinner this past Saturday and had a wonderful table by the fireplace. The service is excellent . Make sure you have a reservation, and enjoy.
I have ordered the duck before and it was amazing. This last time it was very tough and hard to cut. We were seated outside which was breezy unfortunately.
