Farm & Table
It's a lovely restaurant in a farm-like setting, but be ready for flies if you sit outside. They ran out of pastries and lemonade for brunch, which was disappointing. Waiter forgot to bring catsup and charged us for pastries we never got. I would return for dinner and sit inside. Food is very fresh and tasty.
Beautiful Atmosphere. Brunch was good. Service could be a little better, but overall good experience.
The food was outstanding! We loved the ambience and plan to go back.
Wonderful night celebrating with wonderful friends. The service was excellent and the food was so delicious, we all cleaned our plates. Highly recommend for a relaxing evening outdoors with great wine, great service, great food and great friends. Loved it!
Our evening at Farm & Table was delightful. We sat on the patio. Quiet and welcoming. Service was outstanding. We started with a lovely white Bordeaux. The beet salad was amazing. Impossibly thin slivers of tasty beets served with micro greens and pistachio. Truly spectacular. The trout was perfectly prepared and delicious. We finished with pineapple/mint sorbet and Basque cake with cherries. Both were superb. it was a perfect evening. We highly recommend!!!
Our waitress was less than enthusiastic. The $27 fried chicken dinner had a pathetic side--several soggy roasted potatoes. Any, even though it was my husband's birthday (which was acknowledged by the hostess) there's no birthday benefit--dessert or glass of wine. At Farm & Table's price point, I can have better food and a better experience elsewhere.
Nothing beats outdoor dining on an early summer evening, surrounded by greenery and beauty. Farm & Table has generous outdoor seating, covered and uncovered, as well as a lovely inside dining space. The adobe-style architecture is human-scale and beautifully organized, and the farm right outside supplies a great deal of the food on the tables.
Service can be a bit slow, but it is elegant and friendly, and the food is well worth the wait. The prices are slightly upscale, but I've paid much more for food I enjoyed much less. The grilled artichoke hearts are a revelation, presented on crostini with greens and a dab of goat cheese and a delicious dressing that spoke of lemon and herbs. I had the trout as a main, and it was impeccably cooked, generous without being hefty, and beautifully plated.
Local craft beers, an extensive wine list, and organic teas and coffees round out the drinks side, and there are decadent desserts for those who still have room (we didn't). Highly recommended, especially if you have guests from out of town. Can't wait to go back.
Service was great and fun!
Oh Farm and Table...you have so much potential. Why must you squander it away? How about a full bar? How about offering your wonderful Farm and Table burger all the time! How about using those beautiful crispy fried potatoes in your breakfast tacos instead of that mashed? And your chile? Well let me put it this way, a few more notches on the heat would be greatly appreciated. Also, since you have a beautiful patio area and that is where most patrons prefer to sit, how about investing in a good citronella system to keep those pesky flies and mosquitoes away? Will I be back? The jury is still out on that one.
Always an amazing experience for my wife and friends.
I used to love this restaurant, but it seems to have changed. The food used to taste fresh and worth the price tag. But on my last visit (for Sunday brunch) it was more like good bar food. Good bar food, yes. But if you're looking for an exceptional restaurant in a farm-like setting, Los Poblanos is the better of the two by far. I'm not sure if they changed kitchen staff, but the food simply isn't what it used to be.
The service has also declined. Walking in, two servers pushed past me and cut in front of me in a hurry. We sat for a while before we were greeted. I got an eye-roll when the server brought me the wrong drink and I asked for the correct drink.
Like I said, I used to love this restaurant and it was always top of the list for dinner or weekend brunch. But based on this last visit, I would say it's "fine," and I probably won't go back here unless someone else in my group really wants to go.
Al fresco dining at its best! We sat near one of the water features in the shaded patio. Brunch included deconstructed huevos rancheros, both red and green chile on the side. Great depth in rich taste of red Chile with not much heat. Green Chile tasted fresh with more heat. Hibiscus Cara mimosa was refreshing and tart. Farm breakfast with vegetables and eggs made to order was excellent too.
Outstanding evening. Loved the food, especially the artichokes.
Always an enjoyable menu of rotating seasonal locally grown food. The wine list offers new opportunities with varietals and locations not usually seen on Albuquerque menus. A bit pricey, but well worth it for a special occasion.
Overall the experience was great. The service was a little bit slow at times - but we still enjoyed great food, atmosphere and general experience.
Always a pleasure to take people from out of town!
Always a lovely place to spend an evening, or a morning!
Amazing evening, food was delicious and our server was great. Love Farm & Table.
I really like Farm and Table, but this last time the service as not particularly good and the food was skimpy for the cost. I ordered duck and received an egg-sized portion with an similar sized portion of vegetables for $34. We asked for bread and was not served any. I hope this was just an aberration.
This was our second time there and it was even better than the first time , which was amazing!!!
Only negative are the flies when dining outside!!!
Sat outside and the flies were out of control. Barely enjoyed meal while trying to keep flies out of my food.
We sat out on the patio on a lovely evening. As an anniversary celebration and our first visit we were most impressed. The food was great and our waiter did a wonderful job! Thank You!
Food was amazing, service outstanding and the ambiance was nice.
Always love this place. It was full ... meaning every parking spot was taken. Think it is getting a little pricey but still a great place to eat.
Beautiful outdoor patio, delicious food. Will be back!
Used to be our favorite place, still good, but the service isn't as exceptional as it used to be. We had a great server, but he was covering too many tables, so didn't have the time to provide an above and beyond experience, which is what we were used to.
We had a lovely dinner on the patio overlooking the fields. Food was delicious. The wine we had (an organic red blend from California) was just ok. Wouldn’t order that bottle again but it was different. Our waiter James was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Overall an excellent meal.
We've been there for Sunday brunch and now for dinner. Excellent food, great service. Highly recommend it.
Portions are small and a bit pricey relative to the size. Could not see the egg ordered with breakfast enchiladas but was told it was in the food. The dining area was very noisy.
We have had many meals at Farm and Table, most of them very good. Brunch on Sunday: waitress indifferent, barely spoke or checked on us. Out of four of us, two had satisfactory caprese salad and burger. Other two--salad w/ bowl of mystery beans, no flavor. Fourth person ordered one egg, sausage and a "Danish". Never saw a smaller one anywhere, and this was minimal cheese and a dried up slice of orange on it. Not even worth eating, much less paying for! Mimosas were also very small. VERY disappointing, as this was for a special birthday.
Come on, are you resting on your laurels?
BTW, you have only ONE handicapped parking space! Pretty limited.
Fabulous wine paired with one of the best pork chops I’ve had in a NM restaurant! A “shout out” to our waiter, Paul, who recommended the above menu selection and made the whole meal enjoyable.
Magical and decadent birthday dinner with my wife made absolutely perfect by our dining experience on the patio at the always wonderful Farm and Table.
Healthy and great local food, outstanding scenery of farm, and a nice & kind serving person. A perfect place for brunch with good people. Strongly recommended.
"I love this restaurant. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The brunch menu was amazing and the cookies!!!! Definitely one of the best restaurant in ABQ.
The seating was very nice outside under the patio roof. Service was excellent as was the food. We had a great time with our Birthday celebration.
Everything was wonderful.
This remains our favorite ABQ restaurant. The food never disappoints and you can't beat their patio/farm view.
I'd recommend Farm and Table but with reluctance. We had the trout and pork. Pork was a bit overcooked and trout was a small filet with only a bit of salade on top - that was it for a cost of over $20 (trout). Pretty high mark-up so I do not give this restaurant high marks for value. It is in a nice setting. I have been to this place several years ago and enjoyed it more.
We love Farm And Table and always go there for special occasions in the spring, summer and fall. We sit on the patio because my husband is hard of hearing and he cannot hear in the main restaurant. The service is always good and Murphy, our waiter was very good. We appreciate Farm And Table very much. We brought friends who had never been there before and they loved it too.
