Love the flan made with real goats milk from the farmers market incredible texture!
Absolutely phenomenal mushroom soup special, exquisite broth with fresh organic shitakes and bokchoy!
Everything was terrific. My wife and I had a memorable dinner. Thank you!
The new batch of chimayo chile on the red enchilada is delicious!
Always love the fire place burning with pinon wood!
Excellent across the board, service, ambience, menu, quality. Highly recommend!
Avoid this restaurant! We were there with 2 other couples for our anniversary and it was a disaster. The service was absolutely the worst. When we asked for the manager he came over with an attitude of caring about as little as the server. The server got our order completely wrong, my husband and I never even got our dinner! We asked for separate checks and when we finally said to just skip our meal because it was taking so long - everyone else was done! - the server brought 1 check to my husband and I and said he was so sorry for the problem and was not going to charge us for our meals!!!!! The other couples got part of their meals late, drink orders were wrong and we had to wait 15 minutes for ice teas! As I said, the manager actually had the nerve to come over to the table and when we started to explain asked us to go basically keep it down and talk one at a time. It was very obvious his only concern was only the other customers.
Great restaurant for romantic dinner. Atmosphere is nice and great location in Santa Fe.
Excellent food with emphasis on farm to table freshness. I often see Estevan shopping for the freshest of ingredients at the farmers market and it shows in his food. Cozy environment.
Awful customer service, even from the owner!! It’s a complete disgrace to the Santa Fe restaurant scene.
We had a wonderful experience at Estevan. The food is delicious and the staff was wonderful.
Estevan was attentive & delightful as always. Cuisine was excellent.
the best food in santa fe bar none and the chef is a fantastic cook -
The new crop of chimayo chili is in and it is superb!!!
We enjoyed our dinner at Estevan. We went late and were not very hungry and appreciated our waiter's acceptance of that. Sometimes, waiters can make you feel guilty for not ordering drinks, appetizer, dinner, & dessert. We shared several appetizers and a dessert and it was just right. The tamales were good and quite spicy, for us. The ravioli was delicious.
Definitely try their new special soups. Had the Elk special and you could tell they put a lot of love into the dish. Service was great as usual! And man, that green chile sauce, get a bucket of it if you can, because it is so tasty. Best in Santa Fe if not the world!
The best meal I have had out in a while.
Love the new lamb special! The lamb is from New Mexico and has incredible flavor! Super delicious!
Great menu and food! Incredible service and such a picturesque setting. Will def return on our next trip to Santa Fe!
The food is exquisitely prepared, particularly the sauces. The service is top-notch, attentive without being intrusive.
This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. The sauces are amazing. We met the Chef who was friendly and clearly loves what he has created.
Fantastic fresh organic farmer's market tomato soup that is incredible!
As always love Estevan's
Nice experience, great service.
The food is delicious and fresh and the chef is always there. Our favorite place in Santa Fe.
We loved Estevan's old restaurant and mourned it's passing. We didn't know he opened this one - accidentally saw a photo of his famous enchilada in a magazine and realized he was there. It's a shame this restaurant isn't better known, even in a city with great food. We found the food still wonderful. The New Mexican dishes are well-prepared and presented, and the flavors exactly what we remember. His New Mexican take on other food was understated and delicious. Estevan greets his guests; it's a warm and quiet place.
Dinner on the deck on a beautiful summer evening. Great dinner with many specials . I was a little disappointed that some of the specials posted in front of the restaurant were not the specials they had. The ones they had were good- lots of local ingredients- but different. Also at least 6 specials, but presented verbally, so hard to remember. Suggestions not complaints- everything was delicious! Attentive service, too.
The food was excellent, as was the service. I highly recommend (and go there hungry - you’ll want to try different things).
Good meal at a reasonable price. Great service.
Poor service which isn’t a shocker in Santa Fe. Didn’t appreciate the waiter forcing us to try the wine margarita even after we told him we weren’t interested since we don’t like wine. No alcohol just beer and wine here. The chips and salsa were good.
I had the green Chile cheeseburger but could not find any green Chile in it and the fries could’ve been in the fryer longer. My partner had the chicken enchiladas with green Chile sauce. Kinda bland and not very flavorful ...not spicy at all.
We didn’t like the atmosphere...no music, chef kept walking around looking at staff and patrons. The restaurant felt like they were trying hard for a fancy vibe but the food said they’re no better than a roadside diner. It was just off. Won’t be back since I could get a better green chile cheeseburger from lottaburger.
They had this new vegetable soup on the menu that was hearty, savory, and delicious. I swear, I love seeing the chef at farmers market every saturday morning in his jacket picking out fresh produce. Makes the salads he prepares that much better since I know where his ingredients come from. Thanks Estevan for stopping by our table to greet us! Will be back!
Estevan was a quaint , romantic little restaurant removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Santa Fe! The food was excellent and the service was spot on!
Love the green chilli cheese burger super delicious!!!
I can’t recommend this restaurant. Very disappointed with food and service. I would not go back. There are so many other options in the area.
Best Chili Relleno in Santa Fe' hands down : ) The Chef comes to your table to welcome you. Very intimate and special restaurant. A true gem.
They were very busy when we went there, and the food was not delivered at the same time--I never received my sides. The server was very accommodating and comped an appetizer and my dinner. My guess is that we probably went on a bad night and that they would be good otherwise. Nice outdoor dining with a good location in Santa Fe.
We were greeted by Estevan and had a choice of tables. We chose outside, a good choice. Erasmo, our waiter, took excellent care of us and his recommendations were excellent. The ribeye with red Chile Demi glacé, baby calabacita, snow peas, baby beet, and fingerling potatoes was perfectly prepared. The chicken paillard with lemon aioli, spinach, and wild rice was delicious. This was an excellent choice.
Enjoyed the evening. Food was good but salmon was over cooked after specifically requesting to the server for medium and moist it came out very dry. I should have returned it but not one to cause a situation. One never knows how the kitchen staff will react.
Always fantastic! Highly recommend.
First tried Estevan during Indian Market 2018 and have made it a point to return every time we are in Santa Fe. This trip we had the lamb chops, squash soup and local market salad. All were excellent as well as the wine. A special thanks also to our server, Sean, for his terrific service. And sit on the second story balcony/patio if possible. Thank you Estevan - until next trip!
