We enjoyed a four course Thanksgiving dinner at this restaurant. Every course was truly a delight. The service was exceptional. This is not our first visit and it won’t likely be the last. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving Dinner at Estevan. All of the food was delicious and the ambiance was unbeatable. It was sweet to see the chef walking the floor to make sure patrons were enjoying their meal. His face lit up when I told him I liked the dressing/stuffing - he said "I woke up early today to make that myself!" We were surprised with the good portions - even dessert was nice & big! - which isn't always the case in fine dining scenarios. We appreciated that they offered a reduced price for our 2 boys, despite feeding them full dinners. When we left after our 5:30pm reservation, the chef had joined his family at a large table. But he turned and rose to wish us well on our way out. Felt good about supporting a small restaurateur who obviously cares a lot!

Very tasty and delicious meals. I had the lamb chops and they were served over an absolutely wonderful red sauce. (It might have had a little chile in it but there was so much more to it than that. Very subtle and great flavors.) Two at our table had the quail and liked it very much. One rainbow trout and one arctic char. Everybody loved the meal.

This was my first time at Estevan and I will definitely be back. The service was outstanding and we ended our meal with a lovely conversation with the chef! 4 out of 5 of us had items that were on special, and they were SUPERB. Looking forward to my return visit!

From start to finish we felt like the restaurant was there just for us. Waiter, Sean, was exceptional. He anticipated our questions and made each selection an adventure. The food was outstanding. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you. We’ll be back!!

One of the best dining experiences that I have had in a very long time. The Red Bird Chicken Paillard was tremendous and the special, Osso Bucco, was done perfectly, although a little small for the price. The service was attentive and professional.

We had the Bolognese which was a huge serving and the Trout which was good but could have used more sauce. It’s nice that it included sides. We shared the tomato basil salad that was very good. Our server was not overly attentive just at the bare minimum level.

We had a delicious meal at Estevan. We wish the menu had a few more options. What was prepared was delicious. Unfortunately, it was the last meal in Santa Fe so we were a little dinned out. We did try the chili renello stuffed with mushrooms. I enjoyed it, but felt they should top with a little cheese and another diner in our party didn't appreciate it because he wanted a more traditional preparation. The ravioli were delicious too.

Had an enjoyable fall dinner out on the terrace during a recent quick visit to Santa Fe. Service was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. I had the prix fixe dinner. Wonderful chile relleno, arctic char and almond cake with three appealing wines. My wife had the Oso Bucco , rich, filing and satisfying. Sort of a mix of sophisticated Mexican cooking with classical French. Will return on our next trip to Santa Fe.

In order to support the Santa Fe Farmers Market, we went to Estevan. They had a special pre fixe menu for the fundraising event that was absolutely delicious! Wine & beer we drank was lovely! A bit expensive but worth it!

We had the grand opportunity to dine at Estevan's and support a worthy local cause. A portion of our bill will be donated to the Santa Fe Farmer's Market Institute. Our chef is a big supporter of the Farmer's Market and buys a significant amount of produce from local growers. The food was delicious, I had a delightful filet of Arctic Char, much like Salmon, but even tastier. Others at the table enjoyed Lamb Chops, and one companion had Trout. Everyone at our table praised their dishes and bites were shared with joyful sounds. Desserts chosen were a Tres Leches Cake, a trio of exotic ice cream scoops, and I had a wonderful slice of Almond Cake that was scrumptious. Chef Estevan was attentive as were his waiters. He's as charming as he is talented in the kitchen.

It's been awhile since I've eaten at Estevan, so went back to my basics - pastel of guacamole and a cheese enchilada in red chili. Both were great. The attention to every detail, even the mundane, told the story, from how corn chips were arranged on the pastel plate, to the perfectly cooked and tasty calabacitas with the enchiladas - usually an overlooked and forlorn accompaniment. And the red chili was terrific.

Our waiter Aram was very knowledgeable about wine pairing with our foods. He was enjoyable throughout our meal. The others helping him with our service were attentive to our needs as well. The food was delicious. We ordered an appetizer salmon plate. There was plenty for the two of us to share. The salmon tasted very fresh. For enter we had the chard which was the chef’s special. It was cooked to perfection with a wonderful French inspired sauce. Congrats to all the staff and Chef!! We had a wonderful and relaxing time.

This was our second visit here. Fabulous food. The lamb with Chef’s signature Chile sauce was amazing. Chef came around to each table and visited with customers. He also appears to have few groups of local groups he sits with and shares a desert wine. Great experience and we will be back . . . 100 percent.

Service is amazing. The calamari was delicious but the bread we added so we could enjoy the lemon butter sauce from the calamari was very greasy and only 3 tiny circles of bread. The pasta in the bolognese was way over cooked and would be amazing if they used fresh pasta, it was mush and had no “bite”. Husband enjoyed the rainbow trout and fresh ice cream was delicious.
