Great time had by all. Food was outstanding, but portion size small.
The lamb is sensational. The wine list is excellent.
Had an absolute perfect and amazing meal. Service was impeccable, the steaks were the best I have ever had. The Old Fashion was top notch and the wine selection was vast and perfect.
Awesome steaks. Great wine list and scotch list. Veggies were average but ok. Great steakhouse and actually less $ than other big name steakhouses.
My steak was excellent and was the service. Highly recommend
Great food and especially attentive service. Pricey, but good for special occasions or to enjoy something special. Provide special order - steak tartare- great, one of best experienced!!!
The service was impeccable. My waiter made proposing to my girlfriend very special and gave us complimentary desserts for our celebration. The food was worth every dollar we spent.
First time and Very satisfied with the experience!
Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience! Lee gave us exceptional service all around and the wine, food and ambiance were all spectacular as well.
Elway’s is outstanding. The only reason I gave them anything but outstanding was on the “value”. Not because it was too expensive, just because it is pricy. Worth every penny for a special occasion.
Steven, Anna, and the managers were amazing. Best restaurant experience I have ever had.
The staff did a great job of making my 6 year old feel special on her birthday. Maybe that is why she asks to go there when she has the choice.
What a great place to dine whether it’s casual or special ocation dinner! We had a scrumptious Tuna Tartar and for dinner we had a 28 oz steak. We’ve also paired up with Beautiful California Pinot Noir! Definitely recomended this place!
The staff at this location is absolutely amazing. Our service was incredible. The steaks are to die for. We will definitely be back for more.
I left a pair of very expensive sunglasses sitting at the table that sadly weren’t turned in. This is my only issue. But i can’t point the finger of blame at anyone.
Being our 13 year anniversary the setting was perfect, having a table for two. Noting that it was our anniversary upon making our reservations, we were stunned when we were seated to see an outline of a heart made up with rose pedals on our table. Everyone that catered to us knew us by our last name, very polite, always to our needs and the food was fantastic. Expectations were met.
Feelbit was a little pricey for the food. Reviews show $$ should be a minimum $$ bar staff was amazing
Apps were great!!
We went downtown to ELWAY’S VS Cherry Creek because it was closer and I am so glad we did. Since it is in the Ritz Carlton it had Ritz Carlton service! The steaks were better at this location and the overall feel was open and inviting! This is now one of my all time favorites!
Service was suboptimal. Steak, just ok. Guard and grace have way better service and steaks! So does cap grille. The two waiters we had were short with us and snippy. I’d been to the elways in CC and had decent service. I’ll never return to the downtown location.
We shared the most amazing bone in ribeye we have ever had. Plenty of meat for two with the best flavor ever! The mashed potatoes were also delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Denver!
Outstanding service. Food was amazing, but really it was the attention provided by our waitstaff that made the experience so memorable.
This was my filet. There were flies around our table and the manager said that it was the seasoning they use. I’m never coming back. Gross.
We usually love Elway’s and wanted to spend a very special occasion there. We’ve never had such terrible service and supposedly had two servers. We were neglected and three of five steaks were undercooked. I had to ask for my water to be refilled and it took us several minutes to try and get the check. Just not what we expect for a $500 meal.
We ordered our rack of lamb medium which should be a warm pink center. While I like my steaks medium rare I prefer lamb a little more cooked. Our rack of lamb was almost raw. While the outside crust was cooked, the center of the lamb was so raw it was almost purple. I sent it back. It came back with the outside cooked more but the center was still raw. I didn't eat mine and my husband only ate 1 of the chops off of his rack. The rack of lamb was also not that tender since it was so raw. Cooking it in the microwave at home actually made it more tender believe it not since cooking it helped with the toughness. Also, the mustard coating on the outside of the lamb was really over powering. The creamed spinach wasn't cooked enough either. The creamed spinach at Ruth's Chris is waaay better. The au gratin potatoes were really good and the warm pretzel sticks they give you in the bread basket were really good. They did remember my husbands birthday so they get brownie points for that and the birthday dessert was top notch. Instead of the usual ice cream you get everywhere else , here they give you a warm brownie with ice cream on top.
Always a pleasure to dine at this ELWAY’S. We love it!
Amazing service, wine selection, and food. Would go back in a heartbeat!
The food was ok and the service was fair. If I had to do it over again I'd probably try a different place. It's convenient if staying at the hotel however
The food was great, although there was not a lot of people in the restaurant, we were pretty much abandoned and our order was wrong. Could absolutely get past that but no one came around until we were done and said she was taking over. We got our check and left. With such poor attention, we will not be back.
It was fine although we had a big table with kids running around next to us which was annoying. Not the restaurant’s fault just bad parenting.
Catch a show by Nashville trio MAYBE APRIL
Elway’s far exceeded our expectations. The roasted artichoke and short ribs were particular standouts but everything we ordered was excellent.
Dinner was awesome as always. The only thing I could’ve done without was the trio of men taking a conference call at a table a behind us. Having to listen to that on speaker phone wasn’t ideal.
The steaks were very good, but consistently undercooked. My bison ribeye was particularly good, but no more than rare when ordered medium rare. Our other 4 steaks were undercooked 1-2 notches. The service was superb. We enjoyed it and would return when in Denver again.
Perfect meal and perfect service.
Menu looked interesting online, service fell short, then food arrived husband's baked potato was stone cold. I ordered the beef enchiladas, told server that the chef needed to learn what one was. I was served something that looked like a burnt flautas or taquito and they tried to cover up the burnt flower tortilla with sour cream (which I hate) and guacamole. Beef & sauce was fine but it was definitely not an enchilada. For the prices that were charged I expected a higher quality of food and preparation.
We met old friends for brunch and started with Bloody Marys and Mimosas which were very tasty and spicy to our liking. Ordered brunch items on a Sunday around 11:30 am and the dining room was somewhat empty. The Eggs Acapulco was a huge burrito filled only with scrambled eggs and covered with a bare minimum of green chili and cheese. The Crab Benedict was visually pleasing but the hollandise seemed to be absent so we asked for more. The quality of the hollandise was marginal for the reputation of the name ELWAY’S. The Cobb salad was very plentiful and very tasty. The staff was very attentive to us but also keeping busy setting up for later seatings. With the name ELWAY’S we were expecting a lot more of a “Wow” factor in the food so we might check the menu online before we think about coming back.
Outstanding team that was focused on the customer's overall experience - attentive all night.
Loud and the food is not as good as the Cherry Creek location.
