OMG still thinking about every bite from last nights dinner! We were sat to a happy anniversary card on the table and a toast to our celebration of love. The food was the real star of the night though every single plate that came to the table was outstanding!!!!!!!!! I am not an oyster girl but they were fantastic so freaking tasty the crudo was delicious the salad so yummy! Our server was so sweet. I can’t wait to go back!!!!!

MICHELIN-pedigreed chef Jenner Tomaska (Esmé) and Fifty/50 Group hospitality pros joined forces to create this upscale, French-leaning steakhouse in Gold Coast. Take in sweeping views of State Street as you enter the third-story restaurant filled with grand chandeliers and roving carts for tableside service. Start with caviar and Champagne before moving on to wood-fired steaks or a show-stopping duck à la presse. Head to the terrace for a nightcap of rare whiskey paired with dark chocolate.

As you enter the space decked with burgundy banquettes, peek into the glass-enclosed kitchen for a preview of dishes that will land on your white tablecloth-clad table. Expect traditional paté en croute and steak tartare along with whimsical dishes like a foie gras-topped corn dog. Fitting the restaurant’s French roots, lunch here is an equally epic experience.

Since opening in late 2023, this stylish Lincoln Park restaurant from Gramercy Tavern alums Adam </span>McFarland and Tom Rogers has become a neighborhood favorite and critical darling for its approachable bistro fare and laid-back vibe. Head to the counter to order the chef’s tasting menu or à la carte options like perfectly seared scallops, beef fat fries (trust us), and more. Pair your meal with a glass from the top-notch, European-leaning wine list.

Tasting menu was extraordinary. Every course was better than the last. Exceptional ingredients. Incredibly delicious. Great value. Staff was so friendly. Enjoyed chatting with Owen, the sommelier, who has assembled an excellent, eclectic wine list recognized by Wine Spectator 2025 award. He made some great by the glass suggestions for several courses. And ask for sourdough to soak up every drop of the Waygu course. :)
