My kids and I had a post White House lunch at Old Ebbitt Grill and the food was delicious, our server Nana was an absolute sweetheart to my kids. The three of us split a cup of clam chowder, the lobster roll, and the signature filet, the food was a total hit with my 8 and 6 year old. Wonderful visit!

My guest and I really enjoyed our experience at Founding Farmers’s Fishers & Bakers yesterday. The customer service from the Manager to our waiter(Tristan) was Top tier. We had a party of 15 and they were able to make it work with some of my guest not being on time. They were able to sit some of us and were able to accommodate the rest of the members as they came. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have receive a service as this with such a large party any where else. 10/10 I recommend. They also have the best french toast sticks. We be seeing more of my class soon!

If you love tapas you can’t go wrong at Jaleo! There’s a huge range of hot, cold, meat, cheese, seafood, veggies, etc. The traditional shrimp & garlic is loaded with sweet (!) garlic slices, the octopus was grilled and tender, the gazpacho is silky (with crunchy “bread fingers”), the peas were delicious. We shared about 10 plates, and our waitress, Sylvia, was attentive but not hovering. It’s our 3rd visit and we’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had. Last year we had the chef’s tasting dinner and it’s a “must-do” - at least once!

The food was delicious. We ordered Oyster Rockefeller no bacon as we don’t eat pork and it was fabulous along with a bowl of crab bisque soup. Both were outstanding. The main entree was shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and the seafood platter along with mash potatoes and cream spinach. I highly recommend both. Service was great and the drinks were nice. Great birthday evening.
