Rehoboth Beach Restaurants

This was our first dining experience at Eden, and we will be back. From start to finish, it was gracious, calm, understated, unpretentious, expert fine dining. We arrived early but we’re immediately seated, the hostess thoughtfully placing us far away from a large party. We were impressed by the extensive wine list, including a well-curated wines-by-the glass list to complement the creative, bold, locally-sourced new American menu. I started with delicious fried green tomatoes with pork belly, house made lemon ricotta, pesto, and lavender honey. Simply plated and just enough for an appetizer. I ordered the furikake crusted rockfish with sweet potato vermicelli, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, chili oil, togarashi aioli, and dashi. The flavors were carefully layered and nuanced, the textures delightful, the seasonings exquisite. And again, a well-portioned entre. My companion enjoyed perfectly cooked day boat scallops with a silky cauliflower-pine nut purée, pesto risotto, and house made sourdough croutons. The dessert menu was tempting but we were satisfied, electing to enjoy another glass of wine to finish the meal. Our server was attentive but not intrusive, genuinely warm without being chatty. The ambience is casually elegant, with tables in the center and two walls lined with generous booths with white leather-like upholstery and white tablecloths. Lighting was low but not too low. There was a welcome sense of privacy for quiet conversation. The booths along one wall had pale blue sheer curtains that could be drawn. The atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, inviting an intimate dining experience. But the food was the star, a reminder of why those of us who love to cook at home and entertain friends sometimes love to go out to eat.

We had the most incredible experience at Drift, from the moment we were greeted by the host until the time we paid our bill. The service was impeccable and so helpful. The food was inventive, interesting and outstanding, starting with the homemade focaccia bread. Even something as simple as roasted tomatoes was cooked to perfection. My husband had a squash pasta that he just raved about. This is such an amazing addition to the Rehobeth restaurant scene -- hands down the best one in the town. We also enjoyed dining on the cozy outdoor patio. We are eager to return and try some of the small plates, which looked wonderful as well. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Food was great. Salmon was the best we had in a long while. Service was great.

Great food. Decent prices. Wonderful service. Chicken Park is tender and wonderful. Wood fired pizza is fresh and delicious. A must try!

We love this place. This was their last night open before a few week winter break and instead of acting like they were already on vacation they played on like the string orchestra on the titanic and brought their best to the table! Honestly, if they didn't mention it we would have never known this says a lot about their integrity and attention to detail. We had the short rib nachos, crawfish egg rolls and 2 filet mignon's (cooked perfectly) and everything was fantastic. We also love that this place takes reservations (many in the area don't) and that they call to confirm! So not only do you get a great meal you get great service which makes for a great night!
