The octopus entree and ribeye were very good. Excellent service provided by Brian. Also, the bartender was incredibly friendly and gave me a perfect wine recommendation. Unfortunately, they were out of the seafood and squid ink linguine.
We dined with friends and had a lovely meal. We started with the warm olives with marcona almonds. The mixture was not too oily, and had the right amount of rosemary sprigs decorating the dish and seasoning it nicely. A Bulleit Old Fashioned went well with the olives and almonds. Two of us had Shrimp and Grits, which were amazing. The quality and quantity of shrimp was perfect, and the grits had the perfect texture - creamy, but still clearly grits. I ordered a side of beets with Feta, and they were outstanding. There was enough Feta on the plate to enjoy with each bite of beet. My wife ordered the fish of the day, which was outstanding - crispy outside, and moist and tender on the inside. One of our friends had the Day Boat scallops - I didn't try them, but she said they were good. My wife had ice cream for dessert - she wanted the salted caramel, but it had chocolate chips in it, which she didn't want. The waiter picked the chocolate chips out before bringing the ice cream. Amazing service.
This was a great experience - albeit an expensive one. Still, I can't say the value wan't there, because it certainly was worth every penny. We'll be back.
Good food and service. The garlic soup was DELICIOUS!
Always the best dinner!
New favorite in Rehoboth!
This was our second visit to Shorebreak Lodge. We had a much better experience the first time. Although the food was very good both times, service was not. We had an 8pm reservation and our server seemed in a hurry to get us in and out. He appeared impatient as we deliberated over our selections, and he was unpolished for an upscale restaurant such as this. I had only taken two sips of my cocktail before our salad course arrived. And we had just put our salad forks down when our dinners arrived. It was like speed dining! And our server didn't clear our salad plates before serving our dinners. I know it's hard to hire and keep good employees, especially during the off-season, but with some training, this server could be so much better! We would have stayed for dessert, but we could tell our server was ready to go, and we didn't want to be rushed any more than we already were!
Always great. Love the environment. The menu has a great mix of small plates to share or entres.
My dinner at Shorebreak was exceptional! Shrimp and grits were the best my wife has ever had and unique preparation of my rockfish was equally good. Would recommend Shorebreak to anyone looking for a great meal.
You can always count on a good meal here. We have dined at Shorebreak many times and it’s very consistent.
Short ribs and scallops to die for, rockfish tacos amazing!
The best food ,...always our go to place
Great meal and service !
Outstanding service. Outstanding food. Very attentive staff.
Good value. Will be back soon.
We had a great time. The food was wonderful. Michael, our server was great. Friendly and efficient. And an evening with John Flynn playing is always a good time.
One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Rehoboth. Amazing som, personalized attention from entire staff, outstanding food!
Our dining experiences at Shorebreak have always been consistent and fabulous! Shorebreak has great food and a wonderful wine list! An added bonus on Friday’s is being able to listen to John Flynn! We brought 2 couples who have never been there with us tonight and they loved it. This truly is a hidden gem in Rehoboth!!!
Great food, but not if you’re in a hurry. Had a 7:45 reservation and didn’t get sat until 8:15. 30 mins is a bit excessive. Not to mention I was there to have dinner again to remedy the last experience I had that was terrible due to service. The food was a 10, the service prior to being sat was a 5.
Great energy, music, service, and food.
2nd time to Shorebreak within a month. Both times had disappointing service. Food was great, but it took forever. So did the drinks. It took a good 15 minutes before the waiter took our drink order. Then it took nearly half an hour to get the drinks. Food came out pretty slow as well. Will give it another chance or maybe just avoid weekend nights. Restaurant needs to work on training the staff. Too many servers hang out in the corner of the bar when instead they should be checking the tables and the customers and delivering food when it’s ready.
Really enjoyed the interesting and unconventional menu items. Cocktails were great.
Our first trip here was on Thanksgiving Day. Wonderful holiday meal, drinks and service. Would definitely go here again the next time we are in town! Great find!
Food was very nicely prepared and the owner was pleasant, informative and engaging. Waitstaff told us a Demi sec wine was “very dry” (not true) and was not as attentive as we expected given they were not terribly busy, even bringing the check before we were offered the choice of dessert which was included in our 3-course pre fixe meal. We’ll be going back, however. Value, food, atmosphere and Sean sealed that decision.
We had an awesome dinner! The staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back soon!
Food and service were excellent. Maybe a few more choices would be nice.
I took my wife there on a date this weekend. Very cozy restaurant and the food is off the charts good. My wife and I both loved our choices and would definitely go back!!!!!
We had a wonderful experience at Shorebreak. We went for Dinner for Two Thursday’s and had a great time. Fantastic food, great wine list, and terrific atmosphere.
Service was awesome...highly recommend the tasting menu!
Had a wonderful dinner during jazz fest weekend! Food was awesome! Brian was a great server
Menu was not too big but had a lot of variety. Prices were reasonable for what you got, although they were on the higher side. Like that some of the appetizers could be an appetizer or main entree. I would not recommend the pies, however. Portion was small for $10.
A hidden gem in Rehoboth! Food, wine and atmosphere is exceptional!
Excellent welcome addition to fine dining in Rehoboth beach. Rates in top 2-3
My wife, son, his girlfriend and I had a very enjoyable dinner at Shorebreak Lodge Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. The menu, food, wine, service and atmosphere were amazing. The owner, Sean Pusateri, mingled with guests, assuring complete satisfaction.
BEST meal ever in Rehoboth - this amazing gastropub deserves every good comment it gets. Great happy hour with just the right amount of HH food choices. A great dinner menu - the short ribs and scallops over risotto are to die for. This is our new favorite and we'll be back many times.
Food was excellent - all 9 of us loved our choices! Service was outstanding including lots of personal attention from the friendly owner. Have to admit that the restaurant name didn’t appeal to me but they were able to take a reservation for 9 of us and we went for it based on many good reviews - so glad we did!
Food was excellent. Service was great. Kitchen lost our entree order, but Sean (owner) stepped up and made it right. Overall a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely go back. One of the best we’ve been to in RB!
Shore break is one of our favorite places. It is a great atmosphere, excellent food, great service and just a wonderful place to dine. Looking forward to our next visit.
It was our Inst time there. Service was excellent and feed was very tasty.
I would go lighter on the glaze for the steak. I would like to see rolls served instead of the garlic bread.
I would like to see some lighter broth soups as I have heart issues and GERD.
Onion Soup and chicken tortellini, etc.
Great food, knowledgeable & attentive service. Fun atmosphere.
Great service and delicious food!
Shorebreak Lodge was a pleasant surprise. The location is right off the boardwalk with food fit for foodies. The chef rivals some of the top chefs in Philly and NYC. The farm to table rings through in the freshness of food. Extensive list of wines and unique cocktails are a bonus.
