D Bar Denver
Drinks: We have an excellent wine, beer and D Bar concoctions menu that suits all price ranges and occasions. We even have a wine made just for us called Mr. Cupcake by award winning wine maker, Charles Smith!! Time for some after work fun? Join us for Nibbles and Sips Happy Hour!
Dining: D Bar isn’t based on one particular "type" of dining. As chefs, we pull from what we personally enjoy eating. Thus, our menu is based on our childhood favorites, inspiration from travels, and simply just "things we like to eat"!
Dessert: Our passion and background is pastry! We have designed D Bar with a unique dessert bar! It's the best seating in the house as you watch pastry chefs create beautiful plated desserts right before your eyes!
If you love dessert, you’ll love D bar. The food was super delicious and hot when it was brought out. The service was a tad slow; it look a while to get our servers attention to take our order but another server was more than happy to take it us and deliver it to our server.
When we put in our food order the food came out pretty fast compared to how busy it was and the food was done to perfection!
I come to d bar often. In most cases everything is great. This time the server was knowledgeable but seemed stressed and was not very focused. We had to ask multiple times for multiple things.
The lava chocolate cakes is amazing
Food was delicious. Pizza salad sandwich was tasty and on the lighter side. Service was good initially but then dropped off significantly as the meal progressed. we felt abandoned by the end with empty water glasses and waiting a long time for the check to appear.
We had the shakshouka and the chicken fried steak. Neither were extraordinary, but were tasty. The fresh press coffee was excellent and the service was excellent. The shakshouka for its price was very small in portion size and should have come with bread for dipping. We ordered bread on the side and the overall meal price jumped to $29 per person. A pricey breakfast for not much food.
Such a cute restaurant! Food was delicious and their desserts were even better!
Delicious food! So glad we tried this out. They did a great job for restaurant week and provided a lot of food and choices. Everything was fantastic and we'll definitely return.
D Bar had some delicious food, and their cakes are fab. we had a great time.
Good food and atmosphere. The server was at tentative but there was often 15minites between courses.
Food was delicious. Bakery is cute and unique. The ambiance was the typical Denver restaurant where they throw too many tables in an over crowded, loud area with relatively slow but friendly service. The food was great, enough for me to return.
I usually save five stars for a more formal dinner, but DBar has evolved into so much more than a
fabulous dessert destination. Engaging service and delicious and innovative food items throughout the menu have joined the party.
Did I mention desserts to die for?
All of the food is amazing, so no matter what you order, you’ll be satisfied.
Overall it was ok. Wouldn’t go back anytime soon tho. Need more vegan options for sure! Was surprised there wasn’t much of that for a Denver restaurant
I took my grandma for restaurant week. We had an amazing time. The food was wonderful and of course the dessert was great.
The food was delicious, the dessert was to die for and our waiter was lovely. It was very loud and felt crowded. They definitely try to get more out of the space than felt comfortable as a guest.
Restaurant Week menu was great! Our server was good and the dessert bar was fun to sit at, but the food pacing was completely off that night /shrug
We booked a reservation but wasn't seated till 6:30 and several people were sat before us. The food was really good and the drinks were really tasty. It was very loud and high energy but after we got our table we were served really quickly
Tried this location for the first time for 5280 restaurant week. Great value, local place, a great find I will definitely eat at again.
Went during restaurant week and loved the menu and ambience.
Denver Restaurant week. Loved the menu and choices!
Great food, good service. Pretty noisy, a little drafty, and the tables are pretty close together.
We love DBar and took a group of family to have lunch. It was a bit noisy but that was because there was a large group near us. Not bad. Food is terrific. It was cold though and I had to put on my coat. It was a cold day.
Best desserts in town. Tye meal and menu were awesome. Great people watching.
I loved the experience! I will definitely be back for more.
Fairly nice place. Good food. Would go for dessert again
Every time I go to D bar I leave feeling absolutely satisfied with everything. The service, food, and general atmosphere is amazing. Being able to go during restaurant week was fantastic. The menu they have set up is perfect and such a great deal for the price. Would absolutely come again.
Food and beverages were really good. Everyone enjoyed everything!
Food was very good but restaurant was pretty noisy. Good atmosphere. Waiter was really friendly and attentive. Fun place in all!
Dbar is wonderful all the time, and restaurant week was a great deal! It definitely made me eat more, the food was all incredible, as always. The pizza salad sandwich wasn’t there, but the butternut squash risotto was a fantastic change for me! And the wings were AMAZING! I’m obsessed with the goat cheese sauce that came with them! Wonderful new menu item!
I usually give D Bar a 5 on everything and it is usually my go to restaurant. I went there Friday and Monday- Friday my reservation wasn't in the system so we had to sit in the bar area. Service was terrible. Restaurant was out of what I wanted to order. Had similar experience on Monday- at least my reservation was in the system but had to ask several times for beverages, didn't have what I wanted to order and service took forever.
Wonderful restaurant week experience! We had an 8:15 reservation & the restaurant was brimming with people. The hostesses & hosts remained positive. Our server was great, as was the food. Recommend the restaurant week menu highly.
The food was amazing! However, there were so many open tables and at least 20 people waiting to be seated (we all had reservations with times that had already passed). I would just get people seated when the tables are available instead of making everyone wait while the hostesses figured everything out. Besides the host stand, everything was great.
Whenever someone asks me what my favorite restaurant in Denver is, I always say D Bar. I can't help myself, I am a dessert person after all. I have never had a bad meal here. Ever. From the service, to the well crafted cocktails, delicious food and amazing desserts, it all is stellar. If you are thinking about trying it out for the first time, don't think, just go!
I have been several times and have enjoyed it time.
DBar was a favorite of mine and I hadn’t been in a while. Went for brunch and everything was way below how I remember it. I was disappointed, won’t be back for brunch.
Came here for restaurant week and was blown away! Four courses for $35 and everything was spot on. There were three of us so we got the chance to try several different menu items. I dare to say that I found the best burger in Denver! And for dessert, do not pass up the churros! I will definitely be back.
Food was great. Service was so, so. Ambiance was tough. It was very loud. My husband and I were celebrating an anniversary, which I noted on the reservation. I was hoping for a slightly more intimate and romantic dinner, but we were seated right next to the kitchen and bar and had a lot of noise and fuss going on the whole time. I couldn't hear him all that well most of the night. We'll go again, I will likely recommend, but I was a bit disappointed for an anniversary dinner.
Everything was delicious! LOVED the Bacon Mac and Cheese with Fried Chicken!
The food here is amazing! Our server, Ashley, was one of the nicest servers I have ever had. It was a wonderful experience!
Wonderful spot for brunch, and probably everything else. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!!
D Bar was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Denver (I’m a native). Restaurant week menu was not skimpy and we left extremely satisfied. I’m not sure what they put in the macaroni and cheese but, it’s so addictive I thought about it the entire next day. We were early they still sat us right away, the wait staff knew everything about the men, every time a dish came out someone gave us the perfect description. I have nothing negative or have any criticism of D Bar. DELIGHTFUL
