Carl the chef's food was outstanding and Faye and the rest of the service team work brilliantly together.

We arrived Father’s Day … booked for 2.00pm taken to table, drinks ordered asap food ordered and didn’t wait too long!! Sunday lunch was Amazing the amount of meat was unreal … great atmosphere.. lovely pub .. staff polite and very friendly, definitely be going again .

Food was really nice. Good choice and quality of food. Service was great, really friendly. Felt comfortable being there. I thought the steak was quite pricey for what it was. But all other meals were perfect.

My partner and I we staying close and chose the piper based on the good reviews it had received…unlike other places the piper lives upto the reviews. although this is a local pub, the landlord and his staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. we chose to have the Sunday roast and this was one of the best we have had food was well presented and delicious, we had absolutely no complaints and the quality is certainly something you wouldn’t expect in a pub environment. we stayed for desert and had an equally enjoyably experience, we had the brownie and cookie dough tray and would have had seconds for both. when leaving, although he was having food himself the landlord thank us for our custom and wished us well which was a nice touch. would recommend highly
