Best Pubs in Styal

On a really hot evening, the friendly staff coped so well! Only one small bar for service which led to some delay but they coped so well. Ate inside and food was well cooked - some dishes not available on the night - happened to be the ones we’d chosen but alternatives were fine. Beer garden was accessed down 2 flights of stairs which I found awkward. Drinks and food for 2 at £54 was good value.

There seemed to only be 2 front of house staff and they were busy as it was a Sunday. Even though they were very busy the staff were still so lovely, professional and polite at all times. Also very friendly. The Sunday roasts were amazing. This was our first time at The Pickering Arms, we will definitely be going again.

Great place to eat,table service by friendly and efficient staff. Delicious food, sensibly priced - Granddaughters birthday lunch- she LOVED it. Well done!

Lovely service and food selection on a sunny day. We tried their small places tapas which had a few boujee choices. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the atmosphere was made festive by the Didsbury dozen merry makers.

Excellent service and great food, will be back again next month.
