Had a great lunch with friends here, loved everything about it!

Super service, lovely dishes well thought out combinations of food and flavours which were superb.

Been here many times and it never disappoints. Always good food, good service, good value and nice ambience,

Overall we had a lovely meal, the only criticism and why I couldn’t give 5 stars, was the real lack of vegetarian options. The only option on the mains was a spinach and feta pithivier, which looked lovely on the menu so not a complaint from the vegetarian on our table, until the meal arrived. It was absolutely tiny, the pastry itself was so small she finished it in about 4 mouthfuls, then everything else on the plate had no substance at all, the whole table was still eating for quite a while after she had finished her meal, which was a shame, and for £17, in this day and age is a normal cost for a main course, so happy to pay it - but only when enough food for the cost is provided, and this was very much not the case. The rest of us really enjoyed our food however, and look forward to returning! Thank you.

It was so lovely we ate in the restaurant in the evening we were served by Thomas & Nigel, both were so chatty, friendly & welcoming, our food was delicious & hot, both main & desserts 10 star! we both had cider battered fish, chips & peas, & blueberry mess!!! wow definitely 10/10! would highly recommend!!! We were so impressed & delighted with the staff & hotel we are returning for my husband's birthday in August.
