Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf, underneath the train tracks of the North Dock. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's). Bookings and Walk-Ins available.

Chef Larry Jayasekara has approached the project as a custodian, preserving and enhancing the 4-story building. Classically trained but undefined by any particular style, Larry offers a cuisine that, at its core, is all about the joy of eating. With access to regenerative mixed farmland in Northamptonshire, The Cocochine kitchen enjoys fruit, vegetables, seasonal flowers and livestock, including game as well as native and rare-breed pigs direct from the farm. The menu features modern and refined dishes such as Tanera Island Poached Langoustine Leek, Morel, Lemongrass and 40-day Aged Rowler Estate Beef Fillet Maitake, Red Wine Jus.Every element of the restaurant is considered, and the experience, from the outset and throughout, is about personal connection and old-school hospitality.

    Wonderful service received at Market Place St.Pauls. The welcome received once we entered and the explanation of how things worked at Market Place was spot-on. The guide explained that drinks could be ordered to the table using the QR code and food had to be ordered at the various stalls. You get a disc which vibrates once the food is ready to collect from each stall. I had requested that we get an area close by the three pool tables and got that exactly with two large tables. The waiter explained to us that the ice cream was free and unlimited which was an added bonus!! I had ordered an incorrect cocktail on the night and the bar staff were happy to help issue a refund and prepare the correct one which was my mistake. Thank-you to all the staff at Market Place St.Pauls

    Absolutely delightful brasserie eatery on the 4th Floor of the Vestin Hotel (Marriott) . Not easy to find but once on site, service was very friendly, welcoming as well as prompt, the food delicious, and the whole menu very tempting from its varied choice and reasonable prices. A bit surprised that starter portion was on a small size but the individual dessert portion was huge, glad we shared it. Definitely would recommend and would be back.

    Shared a beautiful evening served by the wonderful Iman who payed impeccable attention to detail and delivered a stellar service. Thankyou so much, you made our night so special!!! Thankyou to the rest of the team at the parlour, we felt very catered and cared for the whole evening. Would be a pleasure to come back.
