Delhi Dhaba was established in July of 1991 by a local Arlingtonian family that emigrated from New Delhi to the United States in the 70’s. Their vision was to bring the colors, flavors, and riches of a traditional Indian Dhaba to the locals in the metropolitan area. Traditionally, a Dhaba is a roadside restaurant or cafe found on highways and on the outskirts of cities, towns, and villages.     This was our first time visiting Jab We Met, and we will definitely return. Its a lovely space with comfy banquet seating and the food was really good. I tried the palak chat and though it's different to Rasika's version, it was good but would be greatly improved with less of the sauces on it (maybe put on the side for people to drizzle their own?) The 3 different curries we had were all excellent, as were the breads. The service was excellent most of the time, though oddly, we found it a little difficult to get someone's attention to get the bill at the end. It wasn't a huge problem but odd given how attentive our waiter had been until then. We did not try any of the interesting sounding cocktails but will do next time! I would definitely recommend visiting Jab We Met for good food, service and nice surroundings.
