'Too much is so good, you can't stop eating it. The tandoor-baked breads are not mere swabs for sauce but could be eaten, and enjoyed, on their own; the naan with cilantro and rock salt is terrific, as is the kulcha richly stuffed with minced lamb. Masala Art offers combinations you don't see often around here, but even its more familiar dishes can be revelations. Consider its samosas. They're flakier than a lot of the competition, and their filling of peas, potatoes and sweet raisins tastes fresher, too. A burst of cardamom in every bite helps. In the same vein, soft logs of minced lamb pulse with heat from jalapeno peppers, a shock offset with breezy mint. Pureed spinach is a vibrant green, flecked with corn and rich with garlic...' - WashingtonPost.com

Delhi Dhaba was established in July of 1991 by a local Arlingtonian family that emigrated from New Delhi to the United States in the 70’s. Their vision was to bring the colors, flavors, and riches of a traditional Indian Dhaba to the locals in the metropolitan area. Traditionally, a Dhaba is a roadside restaurant or cafe found on highways and on the outskirts of cities, towns, and villages. Dhabas were initially started by enterprising Punjabi’s to cater to the needs of truckers, for wholesome, clean, and hot authentic Punjabi food at any hour of the day or night. Over the years Delhi Dhaba has become one the most well known and respected Indian restaurants in Arlington. The family continues to push the envelope of new ideas everyday while staying true to their culture and values.

An unforgettable night at Rania DC We recently celebrated a special occasion at Rania, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. It was my husband Sam’s first Michelin-star dining experience, and the team made it unforgettable from start to finish. We chose the Rania Signature offering—an 8-course guided culinary experience paired with the wine pairing—and every course was a revelation. The flavors were bold, imaginative, and perfectly balanced, and the sommelier’s selections elevated the entire evening. The team guided us through each dish and pour with care and enthusiasm, ensuring we felt both celebrated and completely immersed in the experience. Whether you’re marking a milestone or just love exceptional, creative cuisine, Rania is hands down one of the best places to dine in DC. We can’t wait to return.
