We had a work lunch in the little private room in the historic area of the building. It was beautiful and the food was great

Absolutely loved it. Food was delicious and the cocktails and desserts were to die for . We literally rolled ourselves out of there.

Three of us who lunched together agreed that our food was excellent and our service was great too. I loved my homemade gnocchi which was not at all gluggy, and the cream brûlée was delicious. We had all dined here before and agreed that The European keeps up a wonderful service with really great food in a pleasant environment. It is a real asset to Melbourne dining. We shall certainly dine here again.

The ocean trout cigars are a standout, you cannot go past the steak, tartare which is constructed at your table, and the lamb is complex and succulent throughout. Outstanding service elevates a relaxed atmosphere, and the selection of local and international wines on offer guarantees satisfaction.
