Exceptional food and service and great atmosphere

Cannot speak too highly about our experience at the European. On a very busy weekend they made us feel truly welcome. The food, wine and service were first class and their combination with the wine bar next door ( connecting door) adds to the cheerful ambience.

Overall a great plsce to hang out. We had Chef’s menu that was value for money. Starters were great. But the fish entree flavour combo was a bit weird for me. Cauliflower was absolutely delicious. Steak was slightly overcooked for a medium rare as it was a bit tough and also too little or small for 3 people. We each had probably 3/4 strips (tiny finger size) of steaks. A bit dark inside cos i can’t read the menu and had to use iphone lights to shine on the menu to read. but it makes ambience a lil more romantic for a first or second date i suppose. Service was amazing by the host and the guy who served us. Very attentive. I would definitely come again to try their other food. Of course i would recommend this place to other people.
