Best English Restaurants in Cockfosters

Great Sunday roast! Over from USA so I wanted some nostalgia

Sunday Carvery, plenty of meat with a Yorkshire pudding and stuffing ball and a good choice of vegetables. Lovely staff, who were polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our table of 9 all enjoyed their dinners and all said they would return again. The interior decor of the restaurant was also very nice. It’s in a good location too for motorways. I personally not enjoy the cuppochino, the only negative (sorry) we will be back for more delicious lunches.

Food of very good quality and service prompt. My only observation is that with hard floors and walls the noise levels can rise. There was a large wedding party in when we visited which exacerbated things.

We enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere of the restaurant as we were able to sit on the terrace and appreciate the view. However the booking I made seemed unnecessary as no one confirmed our booking on arrival. The waitress was very lovely but did seem a bit under pressure so maybe the other waiter that appeared later should have been there the whole time as the place was quite busy.
