Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Borough

Piccolino were excellent at understanding the request to change the booking date at very short notice and understood the guest changes on the day. I could not fault them for customer understanding and even their central switch board operator was helpful and professional. On the day, we did not order food as it was just some drinks. However food is always great here - fresh and served timely. On the day we ordered drinks. I think there was a little confusion with some of the orders and one member of staff was a bit untimely with service but overall friendly and understanding. The atmosphere is always wonderful and so is the ambience. It’s a brilliant place to sit outside and the heaters are strong and powerful for when you are a bit chilly. I have enjoyed visiting in the past and enjoyed our visit for our book club.

Luciano is one of the best Italian restaurants we have eaten it, and we have been to some good restaurants in London. The atmosphere and seating arrangements were excellent and the whole place look clean, bright and fresh. The staff were attentive and well informed. It was a pleasure to have been looked after by Kate, thank you.

Really nice experience. The service was efficient but not overly pushy. Really nice ambiance, decor and the food was great.

Food was great! The house white was surprisingly so good! I’d definitely want to visit again for the food and wine:)
