Overall, my experience was very positive, with one significant exception regarding the wine service. It left me feeling quite uneasy and unfortunately overshadowed what could have been an excellent visit. I initially ordered two glasses of the French rosé. I was informed it was unavailable but offered a 'similar' alternative, which I accepted after the waiter assured me it was the same price. Subsequently, I was told this second choice was also unavailable, and my options were an Italian rosé or a more expensive French one. As I preferred a French wine, I opted for the pricier selection. I would have expected the waiter to offer us the more expensive wine at the price of the second, also unavailable, wine but he did not. When the two glasses of wine arrived, I was left with the distinct impression that we were not served the more expensive wine we then paid for. My concern stems from the fact that the wine was not poured at our table, and the bottle was not shown to us. This lack of transparency created a feeling of being misled, which is a great pity. Had this issue not occurred, I would have been very impressed with the service and would have certainly considered returning with friends. However, due to this experience with the wine order processing, I will not be returning in the future. It's crucial for establishments to ensure transparent and trustworthy service, especially with order substitutions.
