It requires a 10 Hour drive for me to visit The White Dog Café in Haverford. When I am visiting family and friends in the Philadelphia area, I always make it a point to visit my all time favorite restaurant.
The care and consideration provided by the staff and their incredible manager, Max, continue to delight and amaze me, and this visit was exceptional. Gabrielle was our waitress, attentive and accommodating and striving to meet my complicated dietary restrictions. Every bite was a delectable culinary experience. The quality of ingredients used shines through. I mentioned to my friend that horseradish mitigates congestion for me and Gabrielle appeared magically with a little container of horseradish for me to enjoy with my meal.
My friend and I were celebrating my 67th birthday a few months late and Max and Gabrielle went all out to make our celebration special.
I would like to nominate Max for best restaurant manager in the world. As usual, he made me and my friend feel welcomed, valued and special. I left feeling like I couldn’t wait to go back again and if there’s anyway possible for me to squeeze in another visit into my very busy schedule here, I most certainly will be doing it. If not, I will look forward to my next longer visit in the area. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
