- DDelivipNew York City •12 reviews5.0Dined todayOur family had a lovely dinner overlooking the center of peddlers village and the holiday lights. The food was delicious and the holiday drinks were perfect. I tried the Holiday Flirtini and my husband tried the Cider. Our daughter is still speaking about the Palermo Rigatoni. The beef burgundy was tender and tasty. We look forward to returning the next time we’re in town.More infoCock 'n BullPrice: Expensive• American• New Hope•4.2
- DDougNew York City •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI've always enjoyed The Inn at Barley Sheaf but hadn't been here in quite some time. With the holidays upon us, and a new Executive Chef, Greg Vassos, it was time to go again. And I'm glad to have been there. The atmosphere is always inviting, the service (Kyle was our primary waiter) was impeccable, and the food was excellent. Our party of three sat at a table with a direct view of the kitchen, which was fun to watch, and took advantage of the Chef's Tasting Menu which consisted of: Kombu Cured Hamachi Crudo, Pork Belly, Beef Tartare, Wild Harvested Scallops, Jurgielwicz Duck Breast, and a Whipped Matcha Cheesecake for desert. The only miss, for an otherwise excellent meal, was that the scallops were forgotten. When desert came out, and we asked about the scallops, the staff were very quick to apologize, offered to bring them then, offered to package them for take-home, and offered to reduce our bill. As the rest of the meal was so good, and we knew we'd be back, we asked for the credit as a gift card to be used for our next wonderful meal there. Of the aforementioned plates we sampled, the duck was spectacular, the beef tartare was good but could have had more beef versus potato. Overall, an excellent dining experience ... once again.More infoInn at Barley Sheaf FarmPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• New Hope•4.8

- TTonyPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 6, 2024This was our first time at the Water Wheel. I had the Airline Chicken. The sauce is simple, light and compliments the chicken, which was tender and moist. The potatoes were very different. I’m guessing they are a twice cooked new potato with a crispy outer layer, but a creamy center. The asparagus was not too thick and had just a little snap. They were very busy, but the service was good. The noise level is a bit high, but given the large space with hard wood floors it wasn’t that bad.More infoThe Water Wheel TavernPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Doylestown•4.6
