Wonderful ambience and service
We've been coming to Coyote Cafe when in Santa Fe for about 25 years. The team delivers a consistently great experience. We look forward to our next visit.
Delicious food! Our waiter was amazing
We felt safe and protected from Covid
Try the Elk!! So delicious
Love the waiter & the food & the wine, but especially the Chili white sauce on the shrimp! Ta RDG
Coyoto Cafe is a 5 star restaurant! Recently had dinner there of 4 courses, crab cakes, corn chowder w Lobster, beet and fig salad, and entree of scallops. Food was superb - service with Harris was perfection. The only downside - satiated and simply could not order dessert!
Decor and ambience creates the perfect space for fine dining. Go, enjoy and please dress accordingly!
Had a great meal, the shrimp is a must! The service was wonderful, attentive and kind. Highly recommend!
The crab cake appetizer was delicious as well as the bacon green chile mac and cheese. Yum! Our dinners which included the lamb special and scallops were also super good! Great sangria and wonderful service. Nate was just fantastic and made our night very enjoyable. It was a lovely place to visit.
It was amazing experience. I loved everything that was served. We ordered lobster tails, shrimp morita, corn soup, and filet mignon. They gave complimentary corn bread. The cocktails were refreshing. Overall I loved the place and will recommend. The only suggestion would be to reduce the sugar level in the corn bread as it was very very sweet.
We always have a great experience at this restaurant. The food is consistently outstanding. I'm a seafood lover so it's where I go for the best lobster or sea scallops in town. The corn soup is out of this world, with bits of lobster in it as well. My husband and one of our guests ordered the elk tenderloin and neither could stop talking about how delicious it was...and how it was fork tender with not one bit of gamey taste whatsoever. And our waiter, Paris, was just delightful and attended to every need. An added bonus was that he remembered the name our reservation was under and addressed me by that name throughout the evening. Our guests were extremely impressed with everything as well.
Paris was awesome as always!!
Wonderful service and delicious food.
Absolutely the best restaurant in Santa Fe! Food was wonderful. Great menu - lots of choices and very well prepared. Service is exemplary. Perfect ambiance! Highest recommendation!
Consistent high quality menu and service. One of our favorites as locals in Santa Fe
In the era of COVID we don’t go out as much. But when we are in Santa Fe we can’t miss our favorite restaurant.
Great food; well worth it! Amazing beet salad
The service was fantastic, our waitress was so helpful and gave great recommendations. The cocktail was delicious. My husband got the filet mignon, which melted in your mouth. I had the scallops, which was not only plated beautifully but, it tasted delicious as well. I would recommend Coyote Cafe for dinner!
My wife and I enjoyed one of our best meals ever thanks to the staff and kitchen at Coyote Cafe and particularly our server Nate who was gracious and friendly and very professional in helping us with our choices. Cocktails were unique and superb (a perfect Vespers martini was a treat). My wife enjoyed a sparkling white with lavender bubbles in suspension. It was unique and amazing. Dinner was a highlight, fit for foodies and beautifully presented and described. Appetizers include wonderfully meaty crab cakes and prawns, and that wonderful course was followed by elk and lobster. It was a feast of flavors and delights. All of this was made special by Nate who treated us as welcome friends. Thank you Coyote Cafe and Nate for a wonderful evening.
Service was excellent. Kudos to bartender as well.. cocktails were unique and refreshing. We ordered the prawn and grit cake appetizer and the kitchen split the order to two plates (nice touch). My wife ordered the elk tenderloin and i ordered the Patagonian sea bass. Hers was an A+ and my fish was cooked perfectly but I thought it was a bit on the "fishy" side. I eat a lot of fish and fish a lot so feel I can be a bit critical here. I'd give it a B+. After dinner we decided to have our server choose a dessert. He surprised us with what I recall was listed as banana "cream" but not sure. Nonetheless, order it!! It was an A++. Between the cocktails, appetizer, entrées and dessert, I give Coyote a solid A. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal.
Best meal we’ve had anywhere in a long time! Loved everything about our dining experience & our waitress (female 😘) was on top!
Hands down, one of the best dining I've experienced ever! Right when we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome we were then escorted to our table where the manager greeted us and welcomed us. We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday and they sent us complimentary sparkling wine to toast (it was delicious)! The cocktails were not only aesthetically pleasing but tasted amazing! I had the elk tenderloin and it was mind-blowingly delectable! My girlfriend ordered the eggplant ravioli and once again, we were blown away with how delicious it was! We saved enough room for the banana creme pie and it was paired with hot buttered rum shots!! You MUST order it if you want to have the best dessert ever! This is my first time to Santa Fe and this dining experience really set the bar and I will make sure to return every time I come back. I've never met such courteous restaurant staff. We sincerely enjoyed our server, Erynn. She was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and so friendly! If you want to have the same experience we did, I suggest requesting Erynn!
Excellent cuisine and attentive wait staff. Quality is back a Coyote Cafe
We had a n excellent meal at the Coyote Cafe.
Staff was brilliant.
They followed state safety steps to assist everyone.
Great evening. Exceptional osso bucco
Service was excellent. The eggplant ravioli was the best I’ve ever had!
This place is incredible. Service was outstanding. A great spot and we will definitely be back!
Beautiful presentation of the dishes. Very delicious and interesting combinations.
Very good meal and wine. Perfect huge side of chili onion rings...split crab cakes , diver scallops , pork Osso bucco , could not ask for a better meal . Went to the rooftop cantina for lunch the next day and it was great also .
The food and service were outstanding! We were on our honeymoon and Carlos made sure we were treated like celebrities!
Perfect meal in Santa Fe. The Oso Bucco was the best I’ve ever had. Counter seating was highly entertaining. Service was comfortable and polished.
Incredible food, with exceptional service. The ambiance was very classy and calm.
Amazing meal and service. Paris was a stellar waiter.
It was a very strange evening. I had 7:30 reservations (numerous times still available on Open Table) but not seated for 30-40 mins after reservation time along with several other parties w prior reservations. Manager came through waiting parties and offered glasses of champagne which was a very nice gesture. Waited approx 20 mins after seating before being acknowledged by any staff or getting water. Service was very disjointed and slow despite numerous staff rushing around.. I was never asked for a drink order tho the server said he was going to bring me some wine (odd in itself), but didn’t. Squash soup was watery, tacos good, bruschetta great, banana cream pie great. Server kept apologizing for delays. Several other servers were assisting him but still required asking for water refills. Duplicate utensils brought by different staff. Ambiance very nice and looked recently remodeled. Not sure if I’ll go back for a while.
I love this place. I have a great time and awesome food every time we go. Best cocktails on the Universe.
Another enjoyable experience at the Coyote!
We have eaten at Coyote Cafe a few times while visiting Santa Fe. Once again, the food and service were excellent.
We were so happy to have Parris as our waiter again. He knows how to treat his guests! From beginning to end, our dining experience was very good. My husband had the elk tenderloin and I had the lobster and both were just as good as we remembered. We love the atmosphere of the restaurant. We highly recommend Coyote Cafe.
Wonderful experience, as always. Took our granddaughter on her fall break. Service was impeccable! Nate and his support were over the top on great service, but honestly we expect that from Nate! The best, professional server you could hope for. Always ask for Nate! Food superb!
Of all the great dining options in Santa Fe, Coyote Café continues to be my go-to. Great staff is always accommodating and customer service oriented.
This Santa Fe institution remains a solid player. The service is over the top. The dishes are inventive and pack with flavor surprises.
What an awesome experience. This restaurant surpassed expectation. The service was excellent and the food was great. If you're in Santa Fe, add this restaurant to you dinner plans - you won't be disappointed!
After being closed due to COVID. They did a great job jumping back in the saddle and delivering a great food experience.
