   My wife and I dined at Coyote Cafe 29 years ago for our honeymoon and was our first time back since. Our waiter, Eric and staff treated us like royalty with over the top service bringing us complimentary bubbly for our toast along with post dinner cordial. Food was outstanding along with the service and atmosphere. We will NOT wait another 29 years to go back. 😂

   Some of the best food in Santa Fe. Spectacular cocktails. Been there with a party of 6 and very much appreciated the perfectly timed staging of the courses. Outstanding service by our waiter.

   Coyote Cafe was a great place to have dinner. The bar service was friendly and drinks were very good. Our waiter for dinner was Carlos. He was very knowledgable about wine and helped us make a good selection and brought us a tasting to help us decide. The lobster with pappardelle pasta was excellent. The next time we are in Santa Fe we plan on dining here again.

   Everything was excellent. Pomegranate martini very nice. Mussels were huge and possibly the best I have ever had. Entrees, lamb chops, filet and short ribs were excellent. For the Live of Chocolate was just what you would expect. Extra touch, complimentary glasses of port to celebrate a birthday. Service was superb.

    Fabulous food with a uniquely creative blending of food groups and spices. Beautifully plated and served. Outstanding server Annette made the experience even more memorable and will definitely request her in the future. I have lived in Santa Fe for the past 4 years but hadn't been back to Coyote Cafe since the 1980s. What a great reunion! Will now bring visitors there to experience the offerings of such a talented chef.

    We love Coyote Cafe - one of the best restaurants in Santa Fe- and the food last night was absolutely outstanding. Particularly the hamachi and prawn appetizers and the branzino, elk, and scallop entrees. The staff is outstanding but a great experience is enhanced by a great server. Our lead server last night was so introverted and unenthusiastic that our experience fell flat. Too bad!

    The mussels and the grilled lobster were outstanding. The Spanish rioja was flavorful and a great compliment to the food. The waiter was attentive, friendly and focused during the entire meal.

    I can't recommend this place highly enough. The food and service was fantastic. Had the rolled caesar - intriguing and delicious. The green chili Mac and cheese was fantastic and the short rib, delicious. I was alone, so sat at the chef's counter. A great meal and great entertainment. This is a very fun place for dinner!

    As always, food was consistently amazing. Had the pleasure to meet the new chef & see them in action at the chef’s counter. Our meals were prepared to perfection & the desserts were all decedent. Can’t wait to go back again.

    Sat at the counter where we could see the chefs in action and how beautifully they arranged everything on the plates. We had the hamachi and prawn appetizers (delicious although the prawns were just regular shrimp), followed by perfectly cooked elk tenderloin and a pork chop. Were too full for desserts but they sound delicious!!! Yummy cocktails too!

    A Santa Fe classic, we always enjoy dining here. Not a bad dish in the house. Service, with what you expect from a 5-Star restaurant. Having said that - price point really is not bad, compared to other similar higher end restaurants. Beautiful ambiance, excellent food (love the elk loin) and service— to say again: top shelf. Highly recommend.

    What an outstanding restaurant! Everything was perfect from start to finish! We had the prawns for an appetizer … excellent! For the main I had the scallops and my husband had the elk. Every single thing was such a wonderful blend of flavors and so creative and innovative! This was perhaps one of the best meals we’ve ever had!! Superb!!

    There were 4 families dining (all separate reservations & tables), but why would only 2 out of the 4 families get amuse bouches, salsa jar as a thank you gift, etc? Our food was outstanding, and we loved dining at the chefs counter. I just don’t understand why favoritism was shown to 2 out of the 4 families. It made for a disappointing discovery post-dinner.

    Best night!!! The service was MOST excellent and a beautiful atmosphere. We were celebrating our anniversary and was greeted with a glass of champagne!!! What a wonderful surprise and so very appreciated. The food was outstanding and very creative. We just had the best experience maybe ever. Thank you Coyote Cafe.

    This visit happened to be on my birthday, coincident with a trip we planned for other reasons. I did mention in the comments of OpenTable's form that it was a birthday celebration, expecting nothing since in years past doing the same resulted in a null response. Expected nothing, and wouldn't be disappointed if that was the result. Our waiter greeted us with champagne and a "Summer's Blush" NA appertif, which was a pleasant surprise. He set the mood perfectly, and the evening proceeded in a parade of fun as we were treated to some recommendations along with entrees that were as good or better than expected. The level of creativity and execution of the dishes and service was so consistent that I felt it necessary to mention this experience; otherwise I really don't enjoy writing reviews. The Kitchen, The Staff, The Management all contribute to a Santa Fe Landmark that is better now than in visits we experienced 10 years ago. It has become a restaurant we will seek and cherish. Soup to Nuts.
