Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Tampa
Absolutely delicious! The wine was great, I felt safe going to eat there during the pandemic, just a great atmosphere!
Ordered my steak medium , came out medium well. This happens but food was delivered not by our waitress , and she did not check on table for 10 min, so overall had to wait 25 minutes for corrected steak and I did not get to eat with rest of group
Manager apologized but nothing was comped. What incentive do I have to return ?
The service was great! I had Micheal as my server. It went above and beyond to be sure we had an amazing time.
We were excited about trying a new place. Menu was great. We were seated in a secondary dining room off the main dining room that was very noisy. Server was attentive. Meat was over done. I had to send my filet back. The manager issued apologies and second filet was just right. It arrived after everyone else was done eating. We were relaxed, however and not in a hurry. Daughter’s hamburger was overcooked but she chose to remain silent. I may try again for lunch or wine tasting but not for a relaxing dinner.
Kayla was an all star server and helped us to discover one of our new favorite CH red wines. She also helped us get one of our girlfriends to get signed up for the wine club, so we’ll be back real soon!
Our server was amazing!! We loved it so much we got the monthly wine club subscription and will be returning next month. :)
Food and service are always great.
Two thumbs up every time! Food and service is amazing
Just outstanding. Will go again anytime I am in Florida. Was perfect for our anniversary.
Great experience as always!!
Always delicious at Copper's Hawk. The crusted shrimp scampi was devine.
We were disappointed to find out that after enjoying an amazing dinner for my birthday, that I could not enjoy a wine tasking with my wife as club members. I was told that we needed reservations for tastings. We were not aware of this and it made for disappointment in what was otherwise a wonderful evening.
I asked for an exception and was denied. There were open areas, so it just didn't make sense to us. Nonetheless, we left underwhelmed.
The restaurant and surrounding area had an overall buzz about it. Enjoyed the wine - as we are members. Flatbread pizza was cold, however, other meals were enjoyed by our guests.
We love going to Cooper’s Hawk. We are wine club members and go at least once a month. The service this last visit was not on par with our normal experience.
Our salad was delicious, followed by an excellent dinner. Our waitress was accommodating. We ate outside and the tables were nicely situated. We enjoyed our experience and will be back to experience a different meal.
1st time at Coopers Hawk and I must say I was impressed. We live very close and never even knew it was there. A hidden gem of Tampa. The service at the front door was not a frat first impression but soon forgot about once in the dining room. Our server was awesome and knew everything about the wine list and the regular menu, he even made some recommendation's. The food came out timely and was just outstanding and the portion size was perfect. We will be back soon. Thank you Coopers Hawk for a delightful dinner.
Our lunch was a Ladies Reunion of friends who have not been together since January 2020. Coopers Hawk is one of our favorite places to get together as a group. We truly enjoyed our time and lunch. Looking forward to doing it again real soon.
Cooperhawk is always awesome we do girls brunch on Sunday. The food is fantastic the wine is amazing always a great time!
ALWAYS wonderful service and food - - - and wine, well, who knew????
We always love coming to Cooper's Hawk. It's our date night spot. The Parmansian Crusted Chicken and the Romance Red is the best.
We got an outside table. The wait staff was fantastic. The food was perfect.
Our server Kelly was outstanding and very helpful with our wine selections as well as ensuring our food order was correct and any special requests were followed through. We will be returning again soon for another amazing dining experience!
Outstanding customer first attitude and service !!!
The food was outstanding and the menu verity as well. Every person we came in contact with was pleasant and friendly. Our server even offered us some very good tips on menu items that really panned out.
Three of us had lunch on the patio which was delightful. Two of us had the lunch special of Tacos Carne with chicken tortilla soup. Our other companion had Ellie's chicken (lunch size). Excellent quality and service top notch. previously we had done a wine tasting at the bar. This is a great place, we try to come once a month.
Would rate this restaurant a C-. Tried this restaurant on a visit to Tampa to celebrate my birthday. We sat outside and I almost fell, tripping over a very large umbrella base that was difficult to see and a serious fall hazard. The waiter said all the right things but there was nothing genuine or sincere about him. He talked at us but not really to us; more like he was reciting a script. We started with a bottle of wine that was good and reasonably priced. We shared a shrimp appetizer that was ok but seriously overpriced for the amount of food served. My husband has a dairy allergy and there was no starch (potato, rice or risotto) available with any entrée that he could eat. The waiter made a big fuss over the fact that it was a "scratch" kitchen but they couldn't produce a potato or rice that was dairy free??? Instead of trying one of the featured beef or seafood meals, he settled on chicken picatta. We waited a very long time for our meals and the waiter never came by to check on us. When the food finally arrived, the chicken in my husband's meal was so salty it was barely edible. He ate it because at this point we were starving. I found it so salty it burned the back of my mouth. When we told the waiter the food was very salty he said he would mention it to the chef. He returned to the table he said the chef thought it was from the capers. My husband responded that he had eaten this meal in many restaurants. He knows what capers are and how they flavor a dish. This was salt on the meat, not in the sauce. The waited nodded and responded, "yeah, the capers...." In summary, if you like being overcharged for less than average food, then this is the place for you. If you want value for your money, and you want to feel valued as a customer, there are many, many options in Tampa and I would say give another restaurant a try instead.
We set off this year to visit all Cooper’s Hawk locations but Covid has other plans. This was our 19th location! Kelly was an exceptional sever and was a delight.
Excellent service! Thanks to Carissa for set up and going the extra mile to make this event both pleasant and wonderful.
Everything was delicious as usual. The braised short ribs were cooked perfectly.
We are two couples, who joined at Cooper's Hawk Winery for dinner, together for the first time this year due to the pandemic. We had the best time with the outstanding food. and we shared our 15th Anniversary Magnum bottle of wine. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon dinner. The potato crusted scallops w/parmesan crusted medallions were outstanding. They just melt in your mouth and create a great taste explosion. Everyone enjoyed their individual meals and we topped off the meal with truffles and key lime pie! Hat's off to Cooper's Hawk and Happy 15th Anniversary!!!
It was awesome as usual. The food is always great and the server Ari was excellent.
Very good and enjoyable. Had a great time. Wonderful service and felt safe.
Excellent as always!
I’m never disappointed with the service or food at Cooper’s Hawk regardless of the location.
Great food and ambiance. I miss the buzz of days past when this place was packed on every night of the week. One of my favorite go to places. Always great food and drink options.
This was an amazing dinner. Erica was fantastic and well versed in the menu as well as wine selection. Highly recommend this restaurant, and they maintained social distancing, and enforced masks to and from the table which is a huge plus for my family.
My absolute favorite restaurant in the Tampa Bay area! Amazing food, wine and atmosphere.
Visited Cooper Hawk for lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
