Great food and service for a small group of business associates.
A unique dining experience with delicious options for food and beverage!
The Columbia is always a great place and one of our top choices to take out of town guests for a special treat. They never disappoint.
great food and best service . this was for lunch and crowded, should have reservations.
Such an amazing experience… the location is stunning just to be at, let alone fantastic food and service. I stopped next door and picked up some great items to take home too!!
The restaurant is very Ethnic and the service was very sporadic. Food was good
Oory was very attentive and professional. He performed his responsibilities with excellence.
Food was outstanding.
Food portions were pretty small. I ordered the pompano and was really disappointed in how the fish was cooked. I wouldn't recommend this dish.
We wait for a litter bite but when they get to us the service was excellent, the food is delicious a litter Pricie but delicious.
Wonderful visit. Excellent culinary experience and our server, Mylee, was a gem. She made everything even better. Highly recommend this wonderful old treasure of a restaurant.
Everything was great as usual but they do not make the mojitos or sangria table side anymore, which was disappointing because we had guests in town and it’s always a fun experience.
The restaurant was completely booked, and they had to turn away walk-ins, or instead refer them to the first-come/first-serve bar portion of the restaurant.
Once seated the servers were most pleasant, and promptly responsive. Food was very good. We took takeout boxes to give uneaten/untouched food to persons on the street, and the waitress provided plastic utensils, to-go boxes, and a very nice bag. We then gave the bag to a gentleman who so much appreciated it. Give this restaurant top marks.
Fantastic food & service. The white chocolate bread pudding was out of this world!
Great experience as usual. Worth a trip. A Tampa tradition.
We had a very good lunch in celebration of our daughter’s 38th birthday. Service was a little slow and our party was seated by the exit door and every time it was opened we would FREEZE!!
Service was very disappointing. I made reservations for my sister in law’s birthday who travelled from out of town, our order was “misplaced” so it took an hour and a half to get our meal. The food was amazing as always, service was disappointing and embarrassing.
Wonderful experience! Server went over everything with us to make sure we knew what we wanted to order, the food was hot, and the alcohol was amazing!
The show was very good, the service excellent, the food not that good at all.
The food and service by our server, Tony, were excellent. I took my wife there for her birthday, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see the birthday card on the table, where we were seated so close to the stage that we could touch it without leaning over. It was the first time she had seen Flamenco dancers, and being so close to the stage made my wife especially enjoy the show. The food and wine menu offered a nice variety of choices without being onerous. I've been there several times before, but I am always amazed at the intricacies of the old Spanish/Caribbean motif that even extends to the exterior of the building.
Historically beautiful restaurant, however I feel the food is underwhelming compared to the hype and crowd. I’ve eaten here twice while visiting Tampa and have been disappointed in my meals. The service has been fabulous
Everything was wonderful except for a few small blunders….daughter asked for yellow rice but received white rice and the churros had very little cinnamon and sugar… hate to say anything at all because the food and restaurant is spectacular otherwise.
Our friends came to visit us on her birthday. We wanted to make it a special meal. So we got reservations at Columbia. It never disappoints us.
Just an awesome experience!
Meeting with family
Atmospheric with authentic food and excellent service. Definitely a place to enjoy a bit of “Old Florida”, rare in this large Americanized city.
We were catching an early dinner before a show. Service was efficient and professional. 1905 salad is the best!
There was a large, loud party next to us. Service lagged at first but got better. Food definitely not what it used to be
Great culmination of our Ybor City Historical Walking tour!
The food was good, the mojito’s are the best, we had very attentive service both with a very busy bartender before dinner and a great waiter for dinner. We love coming to the Columbia, every visit has been a good experience.
Amazing authentic Spanish cuisine at reasonable prices. The old world charm and the excellent service make it a must see destination when you come to Tampa.
Always a pleasure to dine at Columbia Restaurant-Ybor City during our yearly visit to Tampa!
This is an outstanding restaurant. I have eaten there several times and will always go back when in Tampa.
Our servers were excellent. They were both very attentive. We ordered the signature salad before our entrees. We were able to finish it before our food arrived. Our food came out hot. We never felt rushed. I definitely plan to return. It’s a good idea to make a reservation as this restaurant is very popular and does get busy. I ordered the grilled grouper which was excellent. You get nice size portions.
Lisa ( from Syracuse) was a fabulous server. Attentive and engaging...as well as patient with our group. It was my step father 77 bday lunch and The Columbia was the perfect choice!
My colleague and I visit Columbia’s whenever we are in town and this time was nothing less than exceptional. Yarek was amazing in his service and recommendations. We can’t wait to return.
We had such a disappointing experience last evening. Will not be returning….just a follie of events.
Have been a loyal customer since the late 50’s when Caesar Gonzmart ran this restaurant. It’s still world class and Edith in management, and Louisa make the visit all worthwhile! Simply the best!
The 1905 salad was off the charts!
I can't believe that I haven't dined here
in the 30 years I've lived here. I'm going to be a regular from now on.
It was our first trip to the Colombia in Ybor city, we have been to several other of their locations but Ybor city is clearly the Pearl. We requested and got a tour of the restaurant and learned about the history of the building and the family business, we were honored to be treated so graciously. We truly had a memorable meal and dining experience.
Such a great experience. Wonderful staff. Great food and entertainment.
