The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 120 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

    I ordered the Grouper Jimmy and it was phenomenal! My daughter had the filet mignon and it melted in her mouth. We each had a dessert (flan and white chocolate bread pudding), which were delicious. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Our waiter, Brian, was very attentive and had a sense of humor. The only negative thing I have is that we were seated at a table near the bar and because some members of a wedding party came out to the bar, it was very loud for part of the time. I would definitely go back to try something else on the menu as there are so many entrees that intrigued me!

    Had a lovely, quick dinner at Columbia Restaurant before attending a show at FunnyBone. While initially service started off pretty slow - it took about 10 mins to be greeted and a good 20 minutes to get our drinks - but after that it picked up enough that we had plenty of time to enjoy our food before our event. The complimentary fresh Cuban bread and butter was great, and the food was all really good, with great portion sizes for the price. We had the Pinchto Mixta app, Ropa Vieja and Lechón Asado "1905". All were definitely things we'd order again. The cocktails were just okay, maybe a little pricey for the quality but not horribly so. All in all, a pretty good experience.

    Restaurant food was great ! Service was beyond especially enjoyed the history they shared about the restaurant. Highly recommend for traditional Cuban food.

    We have very much enjoyed our past experiences with the Columbia restaurant. However, this cost wasn’t so pleasant. Our appetizers came out in a timely manner and were good. Our main course took over an HOUR to come out, wasn’t the best tasting, and I had to get a manager involved. Extremely disappointing! The server was very apologetic and tried her best to make everything right. Ultimately this was an issue with the kitchen staff and not our server. Not sure if we will go back.

    Excellent restaurant for all occasions. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. However, the value for the portion of the food you get is not satisfactory. The portion of food that we chose, Pollo (Chicken) Salteado, is half of the portion of the same item at other restaurants we have eaten before. In addition, others restaurants add other items like chorizo and fries mix of d with the chicken and the sauce. Seems that Cilumbia restaurant gas increased their prices but decreased the portion of the meal.
