   I am a Floridian (specifically Tampa), born and raised. I grew up going to The Columbia for celebratory occasions and now as an adult (and grandmother), I love going just because! I took a friend last night because she had never had the pleasure of going. Of course everything exceeded my expectations, but she was absolutely floored. She didn’t know what to expect as she’s VERY picky, but she left so happy and said it was literally the best meal she’s ever eaten. She had deviled crab croquets, traditional paella, key lime pie and a mango mojito. We also watched the show!

    Friendly staff, very knowledgeable on the menu. Never had a bad meal here. I have dined here maybe 10 times, tried the filet this time just to change up the experience (we actually ordered two filets). It was exceptionally disappointing, while it was a decent slice of meat it was very bland and almost tasted microwaved. These were ordered medium, they came out more on the well side, almost no pink. The rest of the food was good, the 1905 salad, the croquettes were good but the steaks were a miss. We enjoy dining here every few months but will not try their steak again. Side note, they also place menus on the bread plates, I'm not a germaphobe however I'd also not put a menu handled by 100s of people on a plate I am going to have food on.
