The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    Our meals were OK, but our friend had to send her main dish back due to extreme saltiness that made it inedible. She ended up ordering something else, which took quite a while to get to the table. In the end, her meal was comped and overall we had a nice time. The service was excellent and very attentive, and the sangria and 1905 salad were very good.

    We sat with our shoulder touching the piano, way too close! The piano wasn't that loud, bit the bar was overly loud and crowded. Several people were standing with their buttons grazing the backs of our chairs most of the meal. The poor waiter had a hard time maneuvering to our table to refill drinks or provide service during to all the people standing at the bar. The food was cold. We have been MANY times to the Columbian and will come back, but this visit was way below what Columbia usually brings for ambiance, service, and food.

    I have been to Columbia many times and have always been happy with the food & service. The prices however have increased dramatically, nearly $100 for one person is way too expensive!!!

    Restaurant is beautiful! Menu is full of great options! This time the cuban sandwich was a bit dry and service was a little slow but we still enjoyed our meal

    Good service and a lot of personnel serving. Well organized system. However food isn’t great. This is a place for sandwiches and maybe deserts. I had merluza a la rusa. Fish came oily and crust was burnt. My wife had lobster cannelloni. Low quality cheese sauce good. Sorry but I doubt is a awarded restaurant, maybe year’s ago but not this one.

    We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday with family. Our server was amazing! She was very accommodating and truly catered to our table. We will definitely return as this is one of our favorite places to dine.
