The food was wonderful, but our server was not the most polite.
Very nice restaurant! Setting is beautiful and elegant. There is also a private room that provides an exclusive location within the restaurant. Food is pricey, but well prepared, and well worth it if your the sort who can appreciate the intricacies of a meticulously prepared meal. Wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu, food prep, even explaining the different aging processes they use on the steaks. They are also happy to let you enjoy your dining experience with those you came with.
While the restaurant was in a good location and the service was great I did not like my steak. I thought it was overpriced as well. My husband did like his steak. The asparagus was over cooked and stringy with no flavor. I did like the ambiance and and the Sommelier and our Server were awesome. At this price range I would NOT recommend this steakhouse. I would suggest going to Berns or Ruth Chris.

Once again, Charley's displays the total package. Food, service, and atmosphere. Espresso martini, excellent steak, amazing shrimp cocktail, and overwhelming cauliflower.
Wonderful night at Charley's as usual. We are never disappointed when dining here. Most recent night out was for our wedding anniversary and the staff made sure it was a special night.
Charley’s Management—I was a bit disappointed this visit ...mainly because this report is s reflection of this visit and the last (which I hoped was an anomaly). The trends are this ..the food quality in terms of delivery time and presentation is lacking originality. Specifically, on this visit the calamari was soggy and rubbery when delivered to the table. Now as a disclaimer to why I didn’t address this on the spot...I use Charley’s for my most important out of town clients for business discussions. I do this because the wait staff is professional, attentive, appointed well and; most importantly, aware. But the food needs to stay on par. My bone in rib eye 28oz dry age cut was done correctly but the outside was grill burnt not crusted. And, finally the Caesar salad was just whole leaves with sauce on then ..could we at least rough chop the romaine?
I know you don’t want to hear this but between my last visit and this one I took a friend to Bascoms Chop house ...the food was better and the service was on par. Again I’m disappointed that my next business meeting is probably going to be there.

Best restaurant steak I’ve ever had ... cooked to perfection!
I was surprised when my waiter offered my son and I, an option for an appetizer, that should've been introduced as an entree. We were considering something from the appetizer list, and he suggested the lobster bites (fried in a light batter) and we went for it, and loved it! So I, under the impression that it was going to cost someone in the area of the appetizer's price range, ordered a second one, because my second son joined us. And when I get the bill, the lobster cost $64 per order. I guess I should've asked the price, but I also think he could've given us an indication of the cost. But, we still enjoyed your wonderful restaurant, and look forward to our next visit. Your manager Ms. Dasilva, gave us a $35 card for our next visit. Thanks.

My husband and I went there tonight. Our experience started with being seated exactly at our reservation time, while it was still very busy. We sat down and were greeted quickly by a very nice, happy, informative server. I looked over the cocktail menu and while not being a big drinker, I asked her for a recommendation. She said her favorite drink was a Blueberry Mojito. I went with it. I was more than impressed at how quick it came and how good it was. She then went over all the different kinds of steaks they had and we ordered. We had split the Fabulous Filet (which was tender enough to cut with a fork), bacon & cheddar mashed potatoes & broccoli. Our meal came with very tasty fresh garlic cheese rolls and one of the best house salads I've ever at. The salad had lots of Parmesan cheese and a very flavorful house vinaigrette. Our meal came out almost immediately after we were done with the salads. Wow, those steaks were so tender and seasoned perfectly. The bacon and cheddar potatoes were a perfect complement to the roasted garlic broccoli with the steaks. Then very full, but completely enticed by the desserts strolling out of the kitchen, we ordered the Warm Butter Crunch Cake with caramel ice cream. It was amazing!! Such a great finish to this meal. Completely expecting a $300 tab, we ask for the bill. It wasn't even $150.00. This place was amazing. 100% best experience in a fine dining establishment. I more than recommend this place and will definitely be back!!
The steaks were simply excellent, aged to perfection. The presentation by our waiter of the various steak options was very entertaining and informing. The decor and environment was very cozy, quiet. They have a great wine selection as well, suited for all budgets. The sides were amazing and the desserts delicious.
My husband and I have dined at Charley's on several occasions including on Valentine's day and have NEVER been disappointed with the restaurant staff starting with the Valet before you get into the restaurant, the waitstaff, food and ambience. Would highly recommend!!!
Celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday. Food was incredible, service was awesome, would definitely recommend!
One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in a long time and I’ve been all over the world. Joy and John were absolutely fantastic. Loved the steak selection and presentation. We started off with the delicious steak tar tar with a new world bottle of Etude Pinot Noir. Our dinner was accompanied with the house salad served with a warm, buttery, and cheesy bread. We opted for the 50oz. And Caribbean lobster tail dinner and split a filet done in an almost Oscar style. The Sommelier was outstanding as well. The Banfi Brunello di Montepulciano. He brought over a decanter to my delight. Very appropriate service. The only critique I had was that I found the side of lobster Mac and cheese was a little bland and not as much lobster that hoped there to be, but hey everyone has their own way of doing that dish. The thing I liked most about the atmosphere is we weren’t rushed. I come down to celebrate 2 birthdays a year. Usually our go to is Bern’s. Well, that’s going to change for sure.
Everything was phenomenal, little pricey but for special occasions it’s the best.
We are on vacation and it was a wonderful decision to eat at Charley’s! Food was awesome and staff was above and beyond friendly. Definitely will be back the next time we are in Tampa.
Celebrated wedding anniversary and was seated in quieter area of restauarant so ambiance was perfect. Steaks were amazing except for one of steaks bit undercooked but still great experience.
Wait staff surprised us with some extras for our special occasion, which was a class act gesture.
Discovered Charley's on our honeymoon 28 years ago and anytime we are in the Orlando or Tampa area we make sure to visit. Top notch service and great food. Looking forward to many more visits.
I don't know what they do to the steaks, but it is insane. Everything was incredible. I actually had the double pork chop and those are just off the chart

Food was great and the service was just as good(Rich was our waiter and was AMAZING!!) I would highly recommend a martini with their blue cheese/bacon olives! YUM!!
I specifically requested a quiet table for a business meeting. What I got was a table for 8 pushed into a corner banquet style - not at all conducive to conversation.
On top of that, the steaks were not cooked to order, some steaks were cold, and items were missing from the order.
Overall very disappointed with the experience.
Broccoli and garlic sounds like a great side but when it comes out steamed to death x 2, there’s a kitchen issue. And server/management didn’t do anything to make up for it. KC Strip was good.

I went to Charley's years ago went last Saturday for my wife's birthday got lucky got seated at a great table next to the window, the food was excellent one of the top five meals that we have had, could be the top 3 cant remember them all
Been to Charlie's twice and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. The steaks were tremendous. I highly recommend the bone-in rib-eye. To add some more flavor you have to get the truffle butter, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent food and superb service. We went to Charley's in Tampa, FL, to celebrate our anniversary and were treated almost like royalty! Some might consider the prices a bit expensive (we did not because of the quality of the food and service) but, as they say, "you get what you pay for". We highly recommend Charley's without hesitation.
