    Wonderful experience again at Charbar. The food was excellent and served promptly and hot. The trout was a particular highlight. Our only complaint was the raucous wedding party upstairs which sometimes made it difficult to hear each other.

    Our food was very good and the service was excellent. I might have opted to go elsewhere however, had I known a wedding was occurring at that time. It was incredibly loud and our conversation was often interrupted by speeches etc. from the wedding.

    Server got my order wrong. Would not replace a coffee that was bitter. waited long time to get our bill. server was not friendly at all.

    We dined at the restaurant on a busy evening and, unfortunately, found the service to be quite slow. While we understand it was a high-traffic night, we couldn’t help but feel overlooked at times. We had to follow up more than once on a dish that had been ordered but never arrived, which impacted the overall flow of the meal. The food itself was decent, though a few items arrived cold, likely due to delays and coordination issues with service. Given the restaurant’s price point, we had higher expectations for both the dining experience and the level of attentiveness. Overall, we left feeling disappointed. We don’t mind paying a premium for a meal when the service and quality match the cost, but in this case, it didn’t quite meet the mark.

    Fantastic experience at dinner last night. The food was fantastic and our service was impeccable. We were dining with two kids and our server did everything he could to make everything smooth. This was our first time and we will be going back many times more.
