Campiello - Naples
The restaurant features a lavish interior inspired by Michelangelo-designed Villa San Michele in Friesole, Italy-replete with Murano light fixtures, fine leather chairs and banquettes, polished Venetian plaster, and hand painted Florentine murals.

We have been here many times. Enjoy it every time. Tonight though, our server Lindsey, was really amazing. She recommended a fabulous Pinot noir and an outstanding dessert. She was just on it. Thank you Lindsey and Campiello for a lovely evening!
Food was wonderful! Always great!
Lunch. Food was delicious. Appetizers, salad, entree all excellent. Grilled grouper on charred escarole special. Very nice service. Setting is upscale but comfortable with indoor and outdoor seating options. So many great options on the menu, we will be back.
We opted to go to Campiello as a special treat for our visiting adult children. We were seated right away outside and were well-cared for by our server who clearly explained the menu, making excellent recommendations on selections we would love. The sequence of courses was timed perfectly and everyone raved about each one, especially the calamari appetizer. My husband commented it was the best calamari he’d ever had - spicy in a good way with an excellent aioli. Everyone had a different entree — glazed short ribs, roast chicken, crab linguini and black grouper. Each was so yummy. And the chocolate mousse we shared was divine. All told, it was a wonderful evening with an excellent meal in a beautiful setting with spot-on service.
Mickey our waiter was the best waiter we experienced all week in Naples!!
Campiellos was the best restaurant we ate at this week!
Excellent service and attention to details... manager acknowledged our birthday celebration and made sure we had a great table and a special dessert!
Food was excellent!! This is definitely a must visit!!
Always Amazing! The food and service are consistently wonderful. We love sharing Campiellos with friends! When the weather is warmer sitting in the courtyard is cozy and fun!
The restaurant has gotten very noisy. The waiter was arrogant and condescending until we fought back. Then he made an attitude adjustment...possibly thinking about a tip. My appetizer was exceptional but the entree was just OK. The other two guest had similar comments. I would return but am not in a hurry to do so...maybe try again next year.
Our daughter has a gluten allergy-our server said that it wouldn't be a problem so she followed her guidance in ordering dinner. The meal she was served was either cross contaminated or had gluten which caused her to be sick following dinner.
This used to be a "go to" restaurant for us and our friends when we visit Naples every winter.
Not anymore. Poor food, mediocre service. Better options in Naples.
U should really serve the vintage of the wine that is on the menu. At least waiter should have told us u have a different year than menu Sure we drank it. Waiter wasn’t around often enough to tell him he served the wrong vintage. He walked away to speak to someone about it. Well we just didn’t order our usual 3 bottles and and dessert somewhere else after dinner
In less I am mistaken it also didn’t say on menu that meatballs and spaghetti were spicy. Another big problem
It is a beautiful location on 3rd street. Our server, Tracy, was very attentive and had great suggestions. The entrees were very good including the spaghetti and meatballs, linguine with clams, Black Grouper and Osso Bucco. The Covina was over cooked and not great but the salads and desserts made up for that! I would absolutely go back - and listen to my server!!
Wonderful meal and service on a gorgeous evening in Naples
My last visit to this restaurant a few years ago was so memorable, I couldn't wait to go back. Unfortunately, it did not quite live up to the expectation I had built up. We split the calamari which was very fresh tasting seafood but the batter was heavy, more like what you might get in a pub rather than a fine restaurant. The Caesar salad was fine but nothing special. The squash gnocchi with beef ragu was excellent, but I fear it might have been the cause of a sore stomach later on - too rich? Service and atmosphere both excellent, but I was a bit disappointed in the food. It was good, but not great.
Great evening, great food excellent service in a delightful atmosphere
Early Bird menu was quite good! The wait staff was attentive and helpful.
We come every January while on vacation. Roasted Pear and Chicken Salad is amazing!
Excellent time was had by all. Thanks for the outstanding service
Our dining experience was superb! We had the veal shank and the butternut squash gnocchi. Meals of a lifetime! Thank you to our excellent waiter, Dan! Perfection unmatched!

Great food and excellent service!!!
Campiello's used to be a great place. Unfortunately it has become too crowded and noisy. Food is no longer as good as it was and the service was overwhelming. Server talked a bit more than necessary and became a real nuisance.
Great meal, great waiter! Lovely night!
Campiello is always a great place for dinner out on the town. The food was excellent as always but our waiter was terrible with no communication and customer service skills. Our first bad experience at Campiello’s.
We were seated outside in front away from the inside noise which was quite pleasant! Food and service top notch.
Everything was superb!
Much too loud inside. Can hardly have a conversation. Very pricey for good, not great food b
Always one of my favorites. You must try a pasta dish, they are outstanding and so worth the Carbs... Short Ribs are amazing, Wine Selection is fantastic.
Always love Campiellos...a great Naples experience!
We love Campiello!!! Great service by Sara, delicious food and cozy atmosphere!!! Thank you for another wonderful meal with friends! See you soon,Kristin
Good food. Good service. Quite loud inside. Great location.
Their problem is there is SO much GREAT FOOD in Naples...good just doesn’t get it in this market.
Food is very good, perhaps not great. My wife’s fish was so-so, but my pasta was excellent. Fun to sit in the front courtyard. Good flatbread pizza for lunch.
Didn’t like outdoor seating in a back corner. Lovely staff.
Cobia dry and should have sent back but with friends and did not want to make a fuss disappointed to say the least .
One of our favorite restaurants in Naples. It never disappoints!
We all 4 (adults) had cold food. This should never happen especially in a restaurant of this caliber. We had eater year the year before and were impressed. They weren’t that busy so unsure of the reason? We should have sent the food back.
One of our favorites! Upscale but not pretentious. Staff is gracious and knowledgeable. Food never disappoints
I would not suggest going on a Saturday night. It was extremely busy and frenetic. My friends had never been there and found the food good, service good but way too busy with busboys and waiters and clients constantly bumping into our chairs.
You’ll enjoy the atmosphere much more during the week.
It was my birthday. We go there whenever we can. Great food!!
