The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

                                                We sat on the patio which was quiet. Our waiter gave us water and then disappeared. We had to go to find him. The beet salad was good. The chicken dish was highly salted. For the money that you spend there are many other better places in Calgary. This was my first time and I was very disappointed. Not likely to return.

                                                As always we love the Ranche House, it’s one of our favourites. Food was exceptional. I wanted to give a special shoutout to the bartender. For the first time ever, our service wasn’t great. The bartender recognized that and stepped up to help out. Was super friendly, made conversation, recommendations for drink pairing with our desserts.

                                                I had the eggs Benedict which was good. Waiter service could improve. I dislike waiters who keep asking to take away my plate when I am not really done eating . I like To sit and graze but I just let him take it away so he wouldn’t bother me again. And then walked out hungry as I didn’t really finish my plate.
