   We love Bonterra and will always find a reason to go back. Great staff who remembered us even though we hadn’t been in some time. Recommend to anyone who wants a great Italian meal in a cozy setting.

   Overall, we left Bonterra feeling "meh". We had made reservations for a date night, and the reservation notes were very clear about your maximum booking time. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready and we were seated on the patio. It was windy and the furniture was extremely dirty. They assured us the table would be ready soon, but we were outside for an hour. We had our first course and some drinks sitting outside, and it was fine. Our server, George was the main reason we had a great time. He was a riot, super fun to talk to, and treated us amazingly. Get that man a raise! Once seated inside, for our main course and dessert, the ambiance was great. The food was just fine. The portions were very small and the risotto was undercooked. All in all, we'd probably go back for the date night deal and the half price wine, but mostly to see George.

   Ambience good. Food nothing special. My meal was very salty. They did offer to change my meal. Way over priced. As for the bill.. when they brought the machine, tipping started at 22 percent!!! Won’t be going back.

   Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am sorry you had a less than desirable experience with your visit. Our team did try to rectify your meal immediately by requesting to replace your dish when your plate was too salty (feedback was passed to our culinary team immediately) Upon decline, we placed a discount on your bill and you requested to take the dish home . I apologize if this was not a satisfactory solution. There may also be a misunderstanding as our auto selection on the payment terminals start at 20% and there are two separate options for tipping custom amounts.    The staff went above and beyond. They were friendly, fast, attentive and made sure we had a great experience. They gave me this thoughtful postcard with a happy birthday message and everyone’s signature. It was such a nice touch. I’ll definitely be back.
