   Really enjoyed our "Curry Night" at the Bombay Lounge! The ambience is simple, but it's clean. Food was great, came in reasonable time and the service was friendly and quick on his feet. The only issue was down to the inclement weather outside. It was very cold outside, and because people were leaving and coming regularly, the room went cold quickly. But it's more of a design fault of the premises rather than the restaurant's problem, so I wouldn't consider it a big deal. I will come back once the weather is better :)

   Super food in a quiet venue. A hidden gem. Service was also great with a friendly and informative waitron. Recommended.

   Food was delicious although just a little too spicy for me. The service was so friendly, really made us feel welcome. The decor is pretty and it was nice and cosy inside. It's just a pity that the restaurant was empty...took away slightly from the ambience. But definitely a place I'd recommend.

   I ate here for dinner with a friend. The restaurant was quiet so there wasn't much atmosphere, but the food was amazing and the service was good. The total bill was really reasonable and I would definitely recommend eating here.

   It is a small restaurant and a traditional 'British Indian' style, if you didn't know any better, the type you end up in after a night out drinking rather than a destination in its own right. We were really impressed, the food was delicious, everything from the popadoms and chutneys through to the mains. It was tradtional but without being heavy on the ghee and very tasty. The manager / owner was very welcoming and the service was faultless. All around us we would hear other dinners complimenting him on the food so it seemed consistently good. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back, it is a destination in it's own right!

   I passed this place many times never giving it a though. I read some reviews so thought we'd give it a try. It was Ok the food was nice the waiter was charming and unassuming. the bill was reasonable. It's a bit old fashioned and lacks a little ambiance but as I say it was OK. Worth a try an a night out, not a big occasion. Ray

   We made a reservation on our first day in London and were transported to India through the aromas, colors, and delectable flavors. Everything we ate was an experience in itself. Fragrant, visually appealing and delicious. From the starters, a mushroom and garlic appetizer and a shrimp curry in a homemade bread wrap which was spectacular. Then we had a chicken tikka masala and a lamb tikka masala, both outstanding. An aromatic and flavorful count rice with cashews was a perfect side and the naan was light, freshly made and perfect to pick up,the masala sauce. We enjoyed everything so much that we did not leave a single morsal behind. We finished with the best golub Jamon that I have had, again light fragrant and delicious. The owner was at the restaurant when we went and he was charming, and made us feel at home. We returned a second time a few days later and again had an incredible feast. This time we ordered the Tandoori chicken which was perfectly seasoned, seared and yet juicy. Again we were warmly greated and met more familia members the parents of the owner who where just as pleasant as their son. Our only complaint is that they don't have another location in New York. We will definitely let our friends know about Bombay Lounge and if we are in London again, we are definitely coming back.

   We've been to Bombay Lounge twice in last month. Friendly owner, fast service, and really good food and a menu with all the classics you want! Our new neighbourhood first choice for a curry and more

    My work colleague went came here before the cinema. As a bit of a foodie myself - I thought for the price the food was pretty good, without excelling in any particular area. The naan was very nicely cooked - not too thick & stodgy. My kebab started was slightly too dry but otherwise fine. I had a chicken jalfrezi for my main which was nice, with ample spice. I think there are probably better Indian restaurants within a mile radius.
