Our family was in from Texas and Mississippi and we wanted to go somewhere special. We nailed it! Everything from the views, the farm land, animals and private dining room a private glass house with live roof) was fantastic. All of the food was fantastic and great from the farm including veggies and meats. The service from the entire team and especially our waiter was outstanding. What a special treat!
Amazing experience. I’ve been twice already and will be going again when my relatives come and visit. I want to take everyone there.
*Incredible* experience. The farm is a magical place. The staff are wonderful, the food is fresh and delicious, and the ambiance is totally unique.
Absolutely fabulous meal. Easily one of the best dining experiences and meals of my life, and I have eaten some pretty amazing meals in some fancy places. The ambiance is wonderfully "shabby"-chic fancy; rustic but very comfortable. Every course was delicious, and the services was friendly and helpful. Currently they have no menu, it is all chef's choice, and thus I would not recommend it for my picky eater friends, but if you like good food and don't mind some surprises you will love it! Nothing served was what I would call adventurous, rather it was all exceptionally well prepared local produce. Looking forward to gong back for another celebratory meal!
The Farm Dinner was truly spectacular! We loved the privacy of the mini greenhouse, and all of the creative touches from the sheepskin on the seats to the wood burning stove to keep us toasty. The food was great from start to finish, with everything sourced at the source! Highly recommended!
I would recommend this experience to anyone. Cozy dining and great farm to table dishes.
Black Cat Farm is an amazing experience. Great food, incredible environment (private tables in heated glass houses around the farm, and excellent service).
Best Dinner I’ve had in a while! Beautiful scenery!
The best part of COVID dining is you get private spaces and don't have to deal with loud restaurants! Everything was perfect the night we were there. A definite must if you want a unique experience.
We had wonderful dinner on the farm. It was an enchanting experience and I highly recommend giving it a try.
This was our first night out at a restaurant with good friends since COVID and it could not have been a more special evening. Everything was perfect!
It was yet another magical night at Black Cat! A snowy spring evening with our fire warming us inside. Each dish was delicious and comforting. Our guests were enchanted! Thank you!
Best restaurant in Boulder! The most amazing ambiance and the food was divine!
We lived the carrot and grapefruit soup, the entree, wine and desert, and Theo and Cinnamon,
Such a great experiential dinner. They were very accommodating to our food restrictions and provided excellent service and explanation of the meal being served
So fun eating at the farm. Was nice to see where most of the food comes from. The animals were a blast!
Absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend. It's pricey, but very much worth the entire experience.
Stunning views, cozy and beautiful dining space, and healthy and delicious food. Exquisite.
Incredibly unique experience. Peaceful farm location, down-to-earth staff, fresh and creative food.
The most amazing place, suitable for the most special occasion
An experience like no other out there. Rustic, peaceful, and deliciously magnificent.
Black Cat Farm is a peaceful location in west Longmont with parking on 51st street. The meal is a three hour experience, where you can walk around the farm in between courses. Our private room in the barn structure was toasty but they offer blankets. You will get a private dining room, either a glass cabana or a well decorated barn dining room, and the servers may demand that you mask each time they enter your room. The food is organic and delicious. We loved the mulefoot pork dish, with strong flavors of chickpeas, spinach and carrots. Unlike other reviewers, we thought the veggies were cooked to perfection. The onion soup and fresh greens with grapefruit are superb. You can take leftovers of the main dish home. The deserts, lavender tea are a tasty end to a lovely experience. The only caveat is the price. You must order wines the day before and they
are very expensive, and the meal is slightly overpriced but fun for a special evening.
AMAZING. HANDS DOWN AMAZING. Would recommend this experience to anyone.
We had a fabulous dinner - truly farm to table - in one of their greenhouse cabanas. It was the ultimate in social distancing and a
delicious meal. The staff were terrific! It was a dinner we will remember fondly for a long time.
Totally incredible one-of-a-kind experience. Great food and service. Unbeatable location.
This is a culinary experience of a lifetime! A truly beautiful setting, caring staff, and absolutely amazing farm-to-table dinner (each dish insta worthy!). Every detail - from the table setting, to the warm cider greeting, to the roaring personal fire to the greenhouse visit to the specific allergy restrictions- was thoughtful. You can tell that they put a lot of love and care into all they do, and the staff are like a family. If you can scoop a reservation, splurge and do it! We can't wait to go back when we are on CO next year
The tasting menu and wine selection was truly lovely, but what I truly loved about our time on the Black Cat Farm was the experience. The farm is nestled into a hill and surrounded by vast open space. We entered the farm from a dirt road through an old rusty gate and by two large sleeping dogs. The land is appointed with several glass and weathered wood structures, a large barn with a chef’s kitchen and crackling orange camp fires. We were greeted with mulled wine and shown to a beautifully eclectic private room/table... It all felt like an otherworldly getaway and super down-to-earth-farm-to-table all at the same time. We frequented the Black Cat restaurant—and loved it—and must say we love this even more so. Well done!
This was a bucket list item for me and it was everything I had hoped for and more.
This was defininitely one of the best dining experiences of our lives - the food, the wine, the service and the location were all superb!
Absolutely the best atmosphere, dining experience, and food in Boulder. I would eat here once a week if it wasn’t so expensive. Thanks Black Cat!
Incomparable food, service, and lovely atmosphere in their cozy individual greenhouse huts.
A truly magical dining experience at their farm, from the ambience to the food. We have already booked our next visit. :)
Pure magic. Watching sunset over the mountains on a chilly night scented with woodsmoke as courses of luscious, farm fresh foods arrive to our private cabana. Utterly charming. Black cat farm may have ruined me for other restaurants...
Carrots in main course stew were not cooked, very crunchy, overcooked dry pork, food overall lacked flavor in every course. Main course served family style, which was a surprise, but would have been fine if it had tasted good. Not even close to getting your money’s worth when it came to the food - relating to flavor, presentation, or excitement/originality. Your grandmother could likely prepare better food. We actually only enjoyed the hors d'oeuvres... and had to ask to have both of our wines opened, but the setting was gorgeous & good service.
This was a great experience. The ambiance was wonderful even the aggressive haha goose made it fun. The food was exceptional and we wanted to take our waiter home with us. Can’t wait to do it again.
