We went there for the Steak and Seafood Experience advertised through Open Table. Food was really good, I must say, although entree prices were pretty high... The service was barely ok for everyday dining...Our server got the order and timing right, but her demeanor and service was meh. She was nice enough, but she “threw” our food on the table... she needs to know the proper way to “serve” food and definitely could use much more training. I would not come to this place for a celebration- there’s absolutely nothing special that they can offer.

We had the prime rib and lobster, prime rib was good, the only downside was the knife was so dull cutting was difficult.

The strawberry margaritas were really good!

The chocolate cake was dry... should be warmed when served.

A good server can make all the difference in the world. Tiffany is one of those servers. She made my husband's birthday dinner very special.

(The previous couple of times we had dinner at Black Angus were not good, due to our server. 45 minutes to get my salad, entree cold, couldn't find our server, etc.)

This time, it was totally enjoyable - food and service excellent. Thanks, Tiffany!

Everything was great from the service to the food. The only problem was the dessert that we togo. The big chocolate cake comes with hot fudge but instead we got barbque sauce instead. We end up tossing away the dessert (kids was sad about it). Other then that, everything was great.

We have been attending Black Angus restaurants for years. They have some good specials we try to take advantage of. Also we try to get to know our wait person and if good, ask for that person again next trip. We did make a mistake this time as we read the Date Night as being $40 for two, a good deal, except that when the check came, it was each, our bad, not theirs. The waitress? She was excellent.

It was nice to return to Black Angus after more than a year. We were the only ones at an outside table, and we liked that. It was quiet. We received excellent service, and the food is as good as always. We started with salads. My entree was the 6-ounch filet mignon with two lobster tails and broccoli. Delicious and filling.

Our waitress was very bad , had to wait 15 minutes to order our drinks and then waited another 20 to get them . My steak was undercooked, was cold , disgusting.

With the recent opening of California, we decided to give indoor seating an opportunity. Reservations was very spot on and they were prepared for our dining. Clean and orderly, the seating was well apart and clean. Highly recommend.

I never write reviews, and I really wish I would have gotten his name, but our server that night was alone covering at least 6 tables if not more. The man was power walking the entire time! And every time he walked to our table he had a smile on, he was friendly and attentive. Bravo, sir! You earned that 40% tip!

I’ve been there about once or twice a month these past 3 months and the service has been great every time.

I used to eat at Black Angus all the time and they have recently raised their prices to where I don’t think the quality matches the value. My prime rib was good and my son enjoyed the twelve ounce Ribeye which was half fat. So even though we paid for the 12oz, he got the 8oz. We had reservations and were made to wait outside in the cold for quite some time as you are no longer allowed to wait inside even if you are the only people waiting. I got the asparagus as my side which costs extra. I got five stocks which was good amount accept only half of them were cooked right the remainder were extra crunchy. At the end of the meal I asked for a box and some creamy horseradish and au jus to go. I was brought two empty containers when I didn’t have much left of the horseradish, I had to scrape out what I could get. If you are going to charge that much for a meal, even though still considered casual dining, at least bring a fresh container of horseradish and au jus (Forgive the spelling). Does Customer Service mean anything anymore? Oh, I don’t know what they did, but the zucchini and cucumber sauce used to be the best. It does not taste the same and no it isn’t for the better. I was disappointed being the first time out since they opened up.

old style restaurant, so so food, of course is cheaper than big names, like mastros, flemings etc.. but if you don't care, and just want to eat steak for a desent price go there.. not a lot of energy. feels quiet. not for dating for sure.

Made reservation, still had to wait outside. Food was okay except the mashed potatoes, how one can screw this dish up I don’t know but they did, very dry and no gravy or butter. They need to have their booths cleaned, looks like it’s so dirty The management and employees should be ashamed. One would think they would have cleaned everything during the Covid shutdown.

First opening for indoor dining. We got off to a slow start from waiter. And, we did not want to scan QR to look at the menu. So, it took a bit before anything was happening. Thomas did apologize several times for the slow response times. But, he may have been the only server in the bar area where we were seated.
Food was good. Full rack ribs was great.

Reservation for 5:30pm was a disappointment. Requested to be seated in a booth in the bar area so we can watch the Laker game that evening. We checked in a little early and was told the bar area was not available for another half hour or so. We were given the opportunity to sit near the bar area but could not really watch the game clearly. What is the point of making a reservation? Perhaps it was because we were a party of two? Other than that Giovanni, our server was amazing. He deserved every bit of the 20%+ tip we gave him. This was our first time out since July 2020. He made worthwhile despite the fact that we did not get the seating we wanted. He did change the channel to show the Laker game but could not really watch it from where we were seated.
