There are three ways to enjoy the Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar, one of Naples most beloved waterfront restaurants for locals and visitors alike. The Café, on the sidewalk level, has the wonderful, bustling ambience of a big city neighborhood café. The Café menu offers sandwiches, salads and light entrees through the late afternoon and evening. The Grill, accepting reservations, is upstairs and overlooks the Venetian Bay -- one of Naples best waterfront dining views. The Grill specializes in creative and superbly prepared seafood, meats, and pasta dishes. The Grill menu is also served on the Upper Deck Bar and Covered Patio, an award winning outdoor cocktail and dining spot that overlooks Venetian Bay and provides spectacular hues of the setting sun. Between 2-4:30p.m. the Upper Deck Bar offers a lighter, late lunch menu.

One of our favorite go to places tonight but what makes a restaurant great versus good is consistency and tonight was an off night. The service was poor and the lamb warm and a little tough. The magi mahi was a big portion bigger than usual but the fish was grey not white as usual.

After reading positive reviews online, I decided to go here to celebrate my wife's birthday. We made it an early dinner. The Cafe was closed, due to a private event, so we were upstairs. The weather was perfect for outdoor seating - under cover. We had a wonderful view of the bay. Filip, our server, was attentive and answered all of our questions. I began with the Shrimp Cocktail. The shrimp were good, but the sauce was a bit sweet and no "kick" for my taste. My wife opted for the 3-Course special - her choice, we'd been celebrating all day. She loved the Tuna Starter and the Short Rib Entree. I opted for the Miso Glazed Sea Bass. It was awesome. Served over lobster mashed potatoes, it melted in your mouth. They have a great wine list, the desserts were good - loved the Key Lime Tart. The atmosphere was great with great background music (IMO). I found it priceless that one on the hostesses said she would much prefer "music with words"...personal preference. It was a wonderful experience...highly recommended.

Food was very, very good. We did the Sizzle week special. Lots of menu options, hard to make decision. Everything was delicious. Two had the Pompano, which was cooked perfectly, and I had the duck which was perfect. Portions were big, had to bring dessert home. Liam our waiter did a great job, service was great, and he was very knowledgeable and friendly, he made our experience even better. We will be back.

We had great service and great views. Alice, our waitress was wonderfu.. My husband had salmon it was excellent, I had the duck it was just ok… hence the 4 out of five. Love your restaurant!

We had a very large beet salad. It was very good. Our appetizer was calamari which the calamari was prepared and was excellent, the sauce was not appetizing to us. This of course is our pallet probably not shared by other patrons. Our main course was a very large half crispy duck served over nice mashed potatoes accompanied by green beans. The service was excellent.

Venetian omelet seemed to be lacking in all of the advertised ingredients and was somewhat bland. Needed onions or peppers and couldn’t find the scallops, lobster or shallots. Home fries were luke -warm and not very fresh. We have always enjoyed our dining experience and ambiance at Bayside; however Sunday brunch was disappointing.

Took some out of towners for lunch yesterday. Obviously it wasn't busy due to non season but the upper seating and views were all there to admire. Lunch menu was delish and service was great. The fish and shrimp offerings were superb. Great spot we re going to visit again soon

Usually I would give Bayside 3 to o 4 srars. Today , I ordered the lunch special of pastrami sliders. The meat was over cooked and very salty. My companion ordered well cooked bacon on her Chicken BLT. It came with no bacon at all. Ordered bacon again with our server. It was not well cooked. Our bill came to $84.00 . Wouldn’t mind paying that if our entrees were good but they were not!

Had Sunday brunch with a group of friends. Great menu choices with a combination of breakfast options, appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches. Bloody Mary’s and the crab cake Benedict’s were outstanding! The coconut shrimp salad was too. Omelettes were very dry. Service was just ok. Beautiful view. I will go back for the Benedict for sure!

Very nice dinner menu selection and especially liked the grilled or blackened fish options served with fresh green beans. I had the mahi and my wife had the grouper. The soups were very good as well as the beet salad and the Grouper Francais and Chicken with Penne pasta which were enjoyed by our other diners. Our server Liam was super friendly and kept our drinks full. As usual the views of the water here are always serene.
