I attended a 3 person B-Day celebration March 15th and was shocked to see no attempt whatsoever to separate people and give proper distance needed during this Pandemic, I should have stayed home but was sure restaurants would be at least trying to do their part. A couple was sat right next to us even though a table at a distance sat empty through our dinner, the upholstered long seats had people elbow to elbow. They just did nothing to give customers any peace of mind, sad
great brunch, fantastic options. this is a staple for us when it comes to brunch options in the hood.
I've been to Bar Dough a few times - I always enjoy the food and staff. I usually sit at the bar and have always found the bar staff to be great. We sat at a high top yesterday with 7 of us and service was truly outstanding! We were in and out because of emergency calls and the staff was very understanding and helpful. Everything came out so quickly and deliciously. Thank you!
Awesome local spot for phenomenal Italian dishes! The pizza was one of the best pies I've had in Denver!
Great food, just a little loud. Would definitely recommend. Haven’t had a bad meal here.
Great food! Fun atmosphere!
Resurrected a cocktail off an old menu and it was the perfect start. If looking at an online menu it is the #2! Great drink!
The garlic bread is a must starter, and if you are going to try the garlic bread, you have to have some meatballs for dipping! Both the beet and fennel/arugula salads were excellent.
I came thinking I would order something with the fennel sausage. I settled on the bucatini pasta dish, but was steered away by our server to the pappardelle pasta. It was outstanding!! But, you need to improve the sausage pasta dish as your sausage is SO good, but our server didn’t like it. My wife remembered that she ordered that our first time at Bar Dough and was disappointed. My daughter ordered the Commendatore pizza that has the sausage and it was GREAT!
Desserts were excellent as was our entire experience!
We love love love Bar Dough. Food is excellent!!! Our waiter was great and attentive without being bothersome. Only complaint is that I ordered a cocktail without specifying the brand of bourbon, assuming I would get the well brand. When I got the check the drink was upgraded to a premium brand and ended up costing $19. I would have definitely appreciated if the waiter would have let me know.
Tonight the food was too salty. It's become a hit or miss kind of place. Tavernetta has now become my favorite Italian in town, followed by Bar Dough.
Bar Dough never disappoints. The food is amazing and their house wine is always great.
Outstanding as usual!
We had a wonderful time on our first visit to Bar Dough, we will certainly be back!
great food. great service. super noisy though.
The food was definitely the highlight of the night. Can not recommend enough the Spicy Clam pizza!
The root vegetable hash is so unique! A must try!
Lee was helpful with the menu and questions we had. Food and mimosas were yummy!
Was wowed by this great little place. Excellent, seemless service, great and innovative food, busy but well run. Perfect place for a Valentine dinner. So rare to find all of this in Denver, bravo!
This is by far the best restaurant in town - great service, great ambiance, spectacular food, excellent desserts - try you will be back many times
The food was phenomenal and the drinks were more then worth their price tag and part of the overall experience.
I love dinner at Bar Dough but brunch was a whole new level of favorite! Same creativity and delicious entres for brunch as well as dinner. Mocktails, espressos, bottomless mimosas and so much more offered!
We had two apps, two pastas and dessert - everything was wonderful including the excellent service (Cody).
Great spot. They made an effort for me with my 4yo and the food and wine was fab.
Great food and drink. Quiet and good service. Our second time there
Food was absolutely incredible, possibly the best Italian I've had in Denver. Portions were reasonable going on generous.
Drinks were similarly excellent, and only slightly overpriced. Nothing you wouldn't expect at a restaurant like this.
Noise level was moderate, very tolerable.
Service was great.
All in all, I highly recommend it.
Absolutely love this restaurant. I try to stop by every time we are in Denver!
Get the fancy toast :) You won't be disappointed.
LOVE love having brunch on the patio. perfect sunday
Bar Dough is one of our go tos. The food service and ambience are fantastic
Love the food but can get very noisy
Great as always! Eggs were a little undercooked but overall a fun place with good vibes.
Excellent food. Their brunch is delicious. And best mimosa I have EVER had!! Fantastic service. I will definitely go back again!!
We ate at Bar Dough on a Friday night, and maybe that had something to do with the noise level, but I have to honestly say it was probably one of the loudest places we've ever eaten. The food was less amazing than I thought it'd be, too, given the reviews I'd read in advance of making a reservation. Two of my dining companions deemed it "inedible" (one had pizza, one had pasta; the complaint about the pizza was that it was too salty, and the complaint about the pasta was that it just wasn't good), while the other two didn't really have much to say either way. We had two appetizers (the truffle potatoes, and the fried cauliflower), both of which were pretty average; five entrees (three pizzas, two pasta dishes), and dessert, which was really nice. Drinks from the bar were awesome, and our waiter was just the best guy. Our reservation ended up running long, because two of our party were 45 minutes late, but the management worked with us really well, and we were able to eat without being rushed, and still managed to wrap up before the next folks for our table showed up. I'm not sure we'd go back, to be honest, but I'm glad we gave it a shot.
Excellent food, Excellent Service, I’ve never had a bad or even average meal here, always great food and service and some specials to really make it hard - I suggest share and try multiple things!
The food here is phenomenal. The pizzas are so good
The food is still good. Not as amazing as it was in the early days. What’s really slipped is service. It’s routinely disappointing. And the restaurant is always cold and the music is always very loud. So many other good places to eat in Denver. We won’t be back.
Thank so much for your feedback. I want to personally apologize for your experience, as it sounds as if there were things I could've corrected had I been aware. Visited Bar Dough for the first time for Saturday brunch. Our server (I wish I got his name) was phenomenal. He was very attentive through out our entire visit.
Broccolini was great, squash pasta was also very good, duck was a bit salty
Went to Bar Dough on a date night after watching Top Chef. Amazing food, reasonably priced, and great service. Will be back!
